gee, i must have missed this in all the other threads about selina having a baby. has it even been CONFIRMED that burce is the father, or is that all still speculation?

It is highly assumed that Batman is the father. It's either him or Slam Bradley. However, even if Catwoman's baby is not Batman's he will still be the father of Talia's child when Grant Morrison starts writing Batman.

Nothing has been confirmed on whether or not he's the father, he could have just been offering his condonlence toward the baby because Selina means alot to him. Him giving the bear and saying he'd pay for her college, was just his way of saying he's there IF she needs him.

Because Selina is a special person to him and he wants the child to have a good life unlike they did. Also he pays for the college tutions of many people such as the employees of Wayne Enterprises, Clancy from Nightwing, and others.

That is correct. Although, it does seem very likely that Helena is Bruce and Selina's daughter, unless DC is once again attempting to confuse the living hell out of everyone.

From what I read, it would appear that Bruce and Selina both share a common knowledge about the paternity of the child. Of course, this too is mere speculation. I will say that Slam Bradley didn't seem all that concerned; whereas, Bruce suddenly appeared (in full costume) with .. a teddybear in hand.

Here's a direct quote from Selina to Batman: "I'm surprised you didn't stop by earlier. We have a LOT to talk about." And the child's name is Helena ..

According to Frank Miller, every female character was a hooker, stripper or bartender at some point. His ideas; however, don't exactly flow easily into current continuity for obvious reasons.

The Poison Ivy/Catwoman thing is only based on speculation and wishful thinking on the part of some. And if something did happen, it's obvious that Catwoman was under Ivy's control and is therefore not responsible for any acts performed on her. Who knows what happened in that scenario anyway.

FYI, Catwoman's supposed life as a hooker is no longer a part of mainstream DC universe continuity, if it ever was. It was Frank Miller who initially hinted at the notion, which was later frowned upon (and dismissed) by DC.
If you really want to perceive Catwoman as a hooker/****, that's up to you, but when was the last time you read a story that referenced Miller's controversial insinuation? I can't wait to see what he does to the character in his new title with Jim Lee! There's a reason that all happenings in "All-Star" have no connection, whatsoever, to the rest of the current crop of Bat-titles available each week.

Like HH says, Selina DOES KNOW who the father of her child is. It's the readers (US) who don't know for sure.

But wasn't she a dominatrix? Granted I'm only 18, and have little understandin of the protocol of hookery, but is it safe to assume that, maybe, she only beat their asses, and didn't actually have sex with (that many of) them?
