I try to not think about the upcoming season. It's too far off, I believe it's going to be badass and ****ing want it now.

Preserved for posterity now that the original thread is closed... my very first post about Lost after watching the pilot in 2004...

I liked it overall, and I'll keep watching (while recording Smallville).

The handsome doctor and cute spunky girl were both a little too pretty and proactive for me, but I'll get over that. I'm still waiting for something bad to happen to that tall skinny model-looking blonde in the short white skirt who was just standing around staring. The "monster" needs to snack on her, IMO. Or maybe that Harry Knowles lookalike kid - there's a big meal.

I wasn't sure if the dog belonged to the little African-American kid, or if it was supposed to be something mysterious.

The pilot that got yanked out of the plane window and killed by the monster
was Agent Weiss from Alias, of course. I'm still wondering how that plane engine on the beach was still running when the fuel pump, wiring, and other parts would have been destroyed, but whatever.

It's Survivor meets Lord of the Flies meets Predator so far, and that's fine with me!


The only thing that could make it better would be some Sleestaks from Land of the Lost.

After watching Battlestar Galatica, I have to say, it's a much better show and William Adama's bumpy face (which is constant) is much better.

so out of all the 5 seasons so far, which ending scene of any episode was your favorite? One of my favorites was from season 3 when Kate, Sayid, and Locke try to rescue Jack from the Others and they find him playing football with them. It was a big "WTF?" moment IMO. And of course the ending of season 3 and bearded Jack yells "We have to go back, Kate! We have to go back!" Loved it.

That was hysterical. The ending shot where he spikes the football and then the 'Lost' card pops up had me rolling. Someone had a gif of that in the old thread. Priceless.

And of course the ending of season 3 and bearded Jack yells "We have to go back, Kate! We have to go back!" Loved it.

This is what got me hooked. It was the first ep that I watched, after being lured in by the season recap that was on the previous night.

Yea after watching him get constantly beat like a puppy but ultimately keep "hope" only to be used as tool, that would suck.
