There's something I've always wondered, I'm not sure if anyone knows but if someone wins a lottery jockpot prize and comes to claim it; do they have to be shown on TV?

Like couldn't they just get their prize and be anonymous about it?

You can be anonymous...but, and maybe someone can elaborate more, I believe you have to get a lawyer or something like that to go that route. I know it can be done...but not sure on the details.

No, they do not have to be shown on television and can be held anonymous all together. Off course, someone somewhere always blabs.

No, but I was watching TV and a story came on about a woman who won a lottery jackpot.

I've always wondered because it would suck if you win a lot of money and was shown on TV where everyone who knows you knows that you have all that money.

People win millions nearly every other week on the UK lottery and you never see them on tv, and rarely see them in the paper, only really hear about them if they win super big like 30 million + on the Euro lottery
