Reminds of Creature Features host John Stanley because I remember reading somewhere that he watched a movie every day or something to that degree.

Twilight Zone for me last night:

It's a Good Life
A Stop at Willoughby
The Monsters Are Due on Maple Street
The Eye of the Beholder
Time Enough at Last
The Hitchhiker

I was just thinking of this but with the kinds of technology at one's fingertips and the ability to digitally record your own music with stunning quality right in your own home, do you think it's easier to be a self made music artist totally reliant on your talent and the people who make up your "band"?

There's more competition than ever as a result. The advantage probably cancels itself out.

Assuming self-made translates to profitable.

Well, independent music is what I mean, as in freely making music on your own with 0% involvement from the Illuminati at all. lol I know it's not big bucks, but it's better than becoming a puppet and having all your ideas made by nameless, faceless business suits. I'd rather have total control over everything than give it up to some business drone.

Your expectations seem to be realistic. That's healthy. Good luck!

Thanks a bunch Supes. It's all about realizing what are counterfeit dreams and dangerous illusions. The whole mainstream entertainment industry, whether it's music or acting or whatnot is so corrupt and occult any sensible, self respecting individual who values their sanity and survival would avoid it like the plague or escape it before they become trapped.

I always remember that giving up your free will to predatory influences always starts with something small, a subtle seemingly innocent suggestion.

So, I just read the first three issues of Alex + Ada. Really, really nice read so far. I suggest you guys get it too. :bd

I've just had a round of deep thoughts but I was thinking of how I'd be a very boring person if I had 0% intensity and was the mindless, personality devoid, painted doll robot drone some irrelevant people wished I'd be.

Anyone here ever have Jolly Rancher soda?

Yes, I have. It is awesome. :woot:

I have come to the ultimate conclusion that I am better off without certain, stuffy, narcissistic, stuck up people in my life. Their unwaveringly voyeuristic, criminally intrusive, pretentiousness and unyieldingly extreme exaggerations are enough to drive a sane person crazy so therefore they have been rendered irrelevant to me.

Wow, it's like every thread I'm active in suddenly stopped being so, and all the life went into the Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor thread.

It's pretty big news. I'm not a big DC guy myself, but most of my friends are and my Facebook wall looks like the four horsemen of the apocalypse were just spotted on the horizon.

I'm pretty much okay with it. I mean, I won't judge until I see the performance myself.

God. It's one in the morning where I am right now, and I need to sleep. Good night, guys.

Evan Almighty is on TV right now. The movie kinda sucks, but the Ark scene is really well done.

Anyone here gonna see Noah when it comes out?

Probably. Looks like a good movie, and the story in and of itself is very good. Plus, Russell Crowe, Ray Winstone, Emma Watson and Anthony Hopkins. Can't go wrong with a cast like that
