BvS Lucius Fox died in the events of Black Zero?

I noticed there hasn't been any mention of Lucius Fox at all in this new DC Cinematic Universe and after reading countless articles of Bruce's close co-workers (who are like family) dying in the events of Black Zero in Man Of Steel, could it be possible that Lucius Fox was one of those who fell victim to the attacks?

I think that would fuel Bruce's anger even more.

Someone on IMDB, said he died during the black zero event, however i think he admitted later he just making stuff up. But yes, as Brandeezy89 has said, Lucius is mentioned as alive in one of those complimentry books for BVS. Don't know if they'll have Lucius as Batman's gadget guy like in the Nolan movies though.

It's possible but at the same time Lucius only became major due to the Nolan films. The comics currently don't use him much either. Probably more a case of a minor character just being minor. To be fair a lot of Batman characters aren't in BVS. Still think it's more a Superman film with Batman crossing over.

Why do people want to kill off all the Batman characters? 'Gordon is dead', 'Joker is dead and Jason is in Suicide Squad', 'Dead Robin is Dick', and now 'Lucius is dead'

His son yes(like everything that happens over years, Jimmy having super powers like a few weeks), but Lucius himself in terms of importance has changed much. And by much I mean he's not all that relevant. He isn't missed when he's not in a comic.
