M.A.N.T.I.S. is good when you're a child, but by the time you're at least around your preteen years you come to the realization that the reason the series became so boring is because there wasn't much to speak of to begin with. It just had the 'crippled black man turned superhero' angle which soured as the suspense became increasingly droll down the road. But if it came down between these two? Blade: The Series is worse. It pegged down the franchise by associating the original and awesome first film with itself, a mediocre series with a lackluster effort, and then trying to retcon a far superior product as it went along. Yeah...M.A.N.T.I.S. wins this one, but by a hair.
