Action-Adventure Mad Max: Furiosa Spinoff

You know looking at this gif, I think I would like this movie much more if it was the Black & Chrome edition. It would definitely help me to not pay attention to all the bad greenscreen and obvious CGI.

On one hand you are right but on the other hand you're left there were some beautiful colours. :don'tcry:

I still think singling this movie out for greenscreen and cg issues is odd considering basically every blockbuster that is released looks like this or worse. But alas, it is what it is.

But this isn't supposed to be every basic blockbuster of today when the last one set such a high bar.

Shots like this aint it.

But not every movie is gonna look like Fury Road or Dune Part 2. I get being disappointed it didn't look like Fury Road, but the level of complaints exaggerate the problem IMO.

We all complain on this board about MCU grey color palette consistently, does that also exaggerate the "problem"? Deadpool 3 looks as grey as they come.

No but I don't see the same energy complaining about this on most other movies. Marvel CG complaining only really picked up on here around the start of Phase 4, and this is a CBM forum, so naturally more discussion presents more opportunity for those types of things. But like, where was this for D&D or even the various Star Wars shows that look about as good as this and probably have higher budgets?

I've always said those shows look pretty cheap aside from Andor and Mando s1 consistently.

But I see people on here claiming things like "this flopped due to bad CGI" and such, but not this same argument presented for say Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny. Which for my money, that movie looked far more ugly than Furiosa did. Or say Beverly Hills Cop Axel F, that movie looks like it was shot by a film student with a DSLR, but I don't see people complaining about the visuals there. I am just confused on why these seem to getaway from that criticism, but this isnt

Received my 4K Steelbook yesterday. Can't wait to watch this again.

Now I'm pondering... Furiosa and then Fury Road or the other way around for my rewatch session? :hmm

Furiosa and the Fury Road.

It only enriches Theron/Furiosa performance for me, especially that scene of loosing the green place completely.

Watched my 4K steel book last night and man I love this movie. This is equal too or possibly even better than Fury Road for me. I enjoyed it even more 2nd time around.

While I know it doesn't make much difference for profit and sequels these days, it did warm my heart to find out Furiosa topped all home viewing charts last week. I really hope it's finding it's audience.
