Yeah, looks like Max's classic leather pants.
Any guesses out there when a trailer might pop up?

Since we won't see this until Spring 2014 at the earliest, I'm thinking there will be something in front of at least one of WB's 2013 Summer tentpoles.

Well, I guess a half pic is still a pic.. but we need a real still!

This movie looks like the Burning Man Festival or perhaps the Burning Man Festival looks like this movie.

Filming has finally wrapped.

Here's a shot of director George Miller with 2nd Unit Director/Stunt Coordinator Guy Norris, an unnamed camera operator and 2 Edge cranes.

Weren't they filming two movies back to back? So does this mean filming wrapped on both?

That was a rumor. Perhaps it was true when they were going to film in Australia, but the reality is that only one movie was made.

So this will be a complete story in one film? Only "Fury Road" with no "Furiosa"? Or are they just holding off on the latter until they see how Fury Road performs?

Whatever they were originally going to make with Mel Gibson a few years ago is basically what we're getting now. With some tweaks, of course. Sequels will have to wait until WB sees how this one performs. According to Miller, the Furiosa script is ready and a third is currently being worked on.

Picture of Tom Hardy with the UK Counsel General in Cape Town. Given the black leathers, can we assume he's in partial dress as Max?

I think Tom's hair is too short on the side for us to see the 'white stripe' he had in the original films.

Thought this was set after the 1st film but before the 2nd? If so, they can get away with no 'white stripe' as Mel didnt have that in the 1st movie.

Nice! But I dont get why the journalists ensist on the post production becoming difficult? Why shouldnt it go smooth?

Costly, tumultuous production. A movie series that's never been all that big financially. Studio made a ton of investment on this and will do everything in their power to make sure it can somehow turn a profit. Just seems to have all the makings of a rough post-production process.

Devin Faraci stated that 'Max' was behind by a week and there were reports that WB sent some execs down just to check up on the production. Not to say it was in hardcore trouble but considering the years of delays and the move to South Africa, I don't blame WB for being concerned. That being said I think the week-late schedule isn't that bad considering other productions out there.

not sure about the palestine-scarf... but otherwise he looks great

Hipster scarfs have been the must have post-apocalypse accessory of choice since 02 ;)

haha yeah, they are the football gear of the 21th century it seems :P

Damn, he looks rough. I love it.

Is it just me or does Hardy look oddly like Josh Lucas in that picture?
