But poor Q, having his tonsils out right before the tour. And what about Lorrie Ann being back?

I can't believe I'm getting sucked in to this show again. But there is just something so lovable about Q.

Having seen the video for the first single for Donnie, I honestly don't know what Diddy was thinking giving him a solo deal, 'cause there's almost nothing about this guy that says he should be a solo anything!!

I really didn't get that vibe at all, but when I rewatched it, there was a lot of sexual tension there when Diddy was asking her if she missed him, lol. Still don't think they did though.

How about Diddy picking on Aubrey about her big hair. What is that all about. I wish he'd tell her to tone down that clown make-up, instead. Yikes. She was so cute on the very first season, kind of like the girl next door and now she just looks scary with that much make up on. Gotta give her props for being brave though. She's pretty damn scary without it, too. Can't believe she lets them film her looking like that.

It was funny when they all performed for Diddy and Donnie looked so stiff. He did a lot better the second time. I thought he was too hard on the girls though.

Diddy eating the pizza advertising his fitness show was hilarious though.

I just started college Casey so my schedule is pretty crazy right now.


But I don't know who Aubrey is trying to fool. We all know she got a boob job. And she used to be adorable. Her hair is atricious! This is the Aubrey I used to love. She was cute with the hideous black undertones.

Q is growing on me. But Donnie is :heart:


Next episode is gonna be great. I bet Micheal's gonna cry.

Yes!! Exactly. Look at how cute she was. Her make up looks great and her hair looks natural. That bleached out look isn't working for her, imo.

And as far as I'm concerned, we haven't seen near enough of either Donnie or Q. But next episode looks really good.

And it's okay about the college thing. I remember.

That Laurie Ann was horrible to Brian!!! Somebody is going to be the slowest to get the routines, but she didn't have to jump on him every time he messed up. All that's going to do is make him mess up more. She and Diddy have a very strange way of motivating people.

And where the heck is Q?!! WHAT are they thinking this season? They keep showing us boring stuff like arguments over Aubrey's hair And leaving out all the good stuff .. like Q.

What about Aubrey and D Woods being completely ignored by the sailors? It was so set up looking, anyway. At least they could have set it up so some of the guys showed even a tiny interest in the girls. And even when Aubrey asked them what they were doing or could they go with them or something, they were like .. nah, we're good. Hilarious.

More important to any of that though .. where is Donnie? The show aired the day his cd came out and so far this season there has been a total of like, 5 minutes of Donnie. How is that promoting him? From a purely financial perspective, you would think they would be featuring him this season, at least up until the day his cd breaks. It's weird.

What the heck is going on with Q this year? He was always so level headed and smart about stuff and this year he just seems to be losing it. Poor Q.

ooooh, an making the band thread! I'm a freakin' addict of this show and the groups. I have both DK cd's as well as Day 26 and Donnie Klang.

My thoughts on the current season so far:

-Dawn and Aundrea nead another group member or Danity Kane should probably end. When is there going to be some kind of decision made about this? I feel bad for both of them but something needs to happen.

-I like Q and I think some of his complaints about Brian and Will were understandable(AT FIRST) but now things are getting out of hand. I think they were wrong to not want to listen to Q's song suggestions but Q is in the wrong for the constant tuning the others out and skipping sessions and trying to fight Will. I also think that Mike and Robert need to be more vocal about the problem. They both spoke up during the last episode but they need to try even harder to diffuse the problem.

-Diddy and Bad Boy have to figure out a way to promote Donnie differently. His last album had some pretty decent songs on it but by releasing it so far away from DAy 26 and Danity Kane's albums(which came out 1 week after the other), it effectively ruined the Making the Band "buy them all" mentality that they could have easily cashed in on. It's clear that Donnie's new album won't be done in time to piggyback Day 26's new one in an couple of weeks BUT maybe they can time it to come out an week after Diddy's "Last train to Paris".

see the last episode? Q and Brian was SWANGIN'! The Q thing is getting out of hand. I'm not sure exactly what's going on with him. There's no reason he should freak out THAT much because Brian told their manager that Q made them a little late.

I felt really bad when Robert broke down and started crying. That was all kinds of messed up.

Next episode looks insane. Looks like we'll finally get an answer to DAnity Kane's fate and see what kind of verdict Diddy passes on Q. I'd normally say I'm not worried about either group but then I didn't think Danity Kane would break up on live tv either so...

Also, I think Bad Boy will drop Donnie at some point. Unless Diddy releases his next album concurrently with Donnie's, they'll drop him and i'm betting it'll be off camera when making the band wraps up it's run.

Oh, and I can't wait for Day 26's new album. All the songs they've played on the show sound pretty fire. I REALLY like I'ma put it on em.

Agreed. Which is sad cause i'm probably most attracted to Aundrea...when she has on makeup.

So(so far) it looks like Q gets to stay. Do you guys think that Q and the guys can get along and keep it together? Looks like Diddy is tired of all of this fighting and this suspension he put Q on for the cruise looks to be Diddy's last attempt at giving Q time to get it together.

As for DAnity Kane, I think Diddy wants to add another girl or two. I doubt he's ending the group. I still think Making the band has enough pull to squeak out at least an Gold album from a reformed Danity Kane.

Speaking of albums, Day 26's new one comes out tomorrow! I'm excited. I got drunk Friday night and somewhere this a video of me drunkedly dancing to "I'm a put it on ya" lol.

That sucks. I understand his reasoning but the bottomline is is that she AND Dawn have stuck around patiently doing what they're supposed to be doing while he got to this decision. I think she deserved another chance. This is crap.

Yeah, plus, Aundrea is an incredible singer. I remember the voice coach saying she was the best contestant Diddy had. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of the old DK though. Diddy is a master of publicity and keeping you guessing.

And it seems Q's reality check brought him back round to his old self. Yay.

In more ways than one. Rumor is that all five of the girls will be on the season finale on Thursday...LIVE. I'm not sure what to think about it. I don't expect them to get back together(that'd be too good to be true). I'm not sure what to expect. Diddy wouldn't let Aundrea and the other three out of their contract if he aimed to reform the group for some reason.

Does anyone know exactly WHAT kind of problems Danity Kane was having that they never want to talk about on camera? All we ever hear about is how Aubrey or D. Woods wouldn't show up for rehearsals or whatever sometimes. But it always seemed to be hinted that there was more too it than that. Diddy talked about the rift between Aubrey and Aundrea last season. What's that about? At least with Shannon it seems quite obvious that her issues are with Diddy firing Aubrey and D. Woods but I'd like to know what the girls had against each other. AT least Day 26's fights make some semblance of sense.

As for Donnie, there's some good news. I wikied both he and Diddy an couple of days ago and it mentions that both of their new albums come out in September meaning Bad Boy was smart enough to have Donnie piggyback Diddy as I suggested earlier in the thread.

I really don't know either. It all came as a surprise to me in the show when Aubrey and D.Woods left. Aubrey and Aundrea were so close the first couple of years, remember? So it was sad to see there was some sort of falling out between them. And then there was apparently some jealousy that Diddy wanted to use Dawn in some of this other projects, but why get your panties in a bunch over that? Some people can't see how good they have it and then wind up blowing what they do have. I don't see either Aubrey or D. Woods doing much on their own. *shrug*

As for Donnie's album, that's good to know. He had a couple of really good songs on the first but they didn't take advantage of the show when releasing it and it didn't go anywhere. Donnie has something, apparently, but he needs more developing. He's too boring on stage as he is. He needs back up dancers or singers or something.
