no pun in intended here Brogz, I'm getting my fishing bowl ready. I guess the comic look is all you've really got to go by so, here some ideas for the thread.

Green Pleather for the main body suit backed with fun foam paces to add definition (spray paint it) to get rid of the leather grain.

Purple Lycra or cotton with some kind of backing for the cape.

glass fish bowl or something similar for the head. To mystify the inside out, mark some eyes holes out with some masking tape. Then spray the inside with Spray the OPAQUE color spray mount or textile spray mount of spray paint, the two will give of a a dull and shiney look.

Find some leather gloves or make some pleather ones.

Add some accesories.

you could vacumform the dome. or search the hardware stores for anything like it

vacuforming would work as long as its done properly.... green pleather is a nice choice for the body suit but in certain areas I would add some lighter materials... pleather does not breath to well.... also keep in mind that you should have a vent system in the helmet... whether it just be tiny holes in the back or anything to prevent fogging.

Mysterio outfit has been done.

I have a printed picture of a brilliant Mysterio costume some guy did for Comic Con event or someting similar.

The guy who was wearing it also had two friends dressed as Kraven & Hobgoblin standing next to him.

The pic is on the web somewhere but I cant remember what site though?

Someone started this thread a while ago i think asking about a Mysterio Costume...well i finally made mine!!! Don't know if this is the right forum but i have a link to the Mysterio costume i did for this past Halloween (Also i made a Lizard one for my friend)

A few notes that the pics may not show as clearly:
- The inside of the cape does indeed have all the little swirl circles drawn by hand (aprox 3600 of them) as well on the forearms and if you look closely the green suit has all the little lines that are all over it.

- The muscle suit (under the green suit) was made from scratch using foam, duct tape, and some old bmx armor.

- The Lizard costume has a fully posable tail btw )oh and his nails fell off... :-(

A little story behind it was that my friends and i went to a Super Hero and Villains Party at a pub in Vancouver B.C. (Yaggers).
There we were with more and more villains showing up, gathering around the table where we were.
It looked like a Super Villain regular hang out as they were all there (different universes marvel and DC) drinking beers after what looked like a hard day of work with a few comments were made about how they wished Spiderman would show up... then he would get his...

Well about 30 mins later someone shouts "Hey Spiderman is here!!!"
"What?!?"
"Spiderman!?!?"
many exclaimed as we all stood up and proceeded to rush out the door... Then the battle ensued... hahahaha

All in good fun of course. made my night.

Ok so i went to a site called 1000 Bulbs Best thing you cld ever do !
14" acrylic Glass Dome or Ball either heading will work,they may also sell them at homedepot though i can neither confirm nor deny that.
I basically bought a dremel tool and cut about 2inchaes around the bottom, it was gr8 cus unlike glass acrylic doesnt just crack or shatter , it will be very egg like so i wouldnt though Lol
I basically went to jo annes fabrics and bought this mirror tint spray paint that is for the underside of glass tables or the insides of vaces but if u spray the inside of the dome guess what ...instant mirror tint!
Mine has been done since b4 christmas but yeah...also i used a 12" cememnt tube dremeled and padded the shoulder wholes and silver /gold/ sparkle spray paint and a bit of fabric and Tibi gracias agimus quod nuehill fumas !!!POOF!

It was all a ruse by Mysterio! Trick us into thinking the thread about him was dead and then show back up 4 years later.

For those interested here are a few good contenders.

I know I know this last photo is of Guy Manuel from Daft Punk. For me if ever Mysterio makes it into Marc Webbs Spider Man saga this is a simple design to bring to a movie screen near you.

Yeah Sony & co would need to get Daft Punks permission but hell the helmet can be similar but maybe the leather outfit to be perhaps dark green with purple half (Destro Gi Joe idea) cape to make him resemble old Mysterio. Anyone else think GMs costume could provide a basis for movie Mysterio?
