STILL PLAYING CATCHUP:

I bought and read the first three Issues of this short run and have to admit that I was irritated.

I had to read them again to pinpoint my issues:

Good points - The Premise is good, The reasoning of all the characters were sound, Personalities were on point.

Bad - I'd like DC to decide once and for all what are the differences in power levels between Apocalyse and Earth.

I have read Batman Whooping Parademons (plural) And Supergirl can't handle a GRUNT with dreams of being a love slave of Darkseid?
(Disconnect - this Grunt starts out doing bigger feats that I've seen Darkseids son Kalibak do on Earth, so I have no idea how they grow menial laborers in the firepits, but it puts them in the Kryptonian weight class.)

The female furies are dangerous - to Street level heroes and below, The last time they ran into Supergirl, they got mauled. I HOPE they get trounced when they run into Powergirl,...

Superman couldn't go camping on a planet under an ORANGE SUN? I'm saying you don't make yourself powerless when working with an unknown like Kara.

I'm waiting to see how this all spins out,...

It's only a comic,... but I hope:

Malstrom does SOMETHING that gets her "accepted" by Darkseid.
Supergirl GETS a CLUE.
Someone explains how/why their seems to be a wide range of power from a group coming from the same place.

whoa.
I'm the only one who had an opinion?

You might be the only one who actually read the ****in' thing.

I planned to read it, but I got behind and distracted and didn't touch a comic book for about two months, and Maelstrom got put on the read-in-fifteen-years-after-I-read-literally-everything-else pile. Ahead of Harold Hedd - Hitler's Cocaine, but just behind Persepolis.

Well,...
I too have been away,... and when I saw all three on the shelf, I decided to read what supergirls deal was this week?

My bad for expecting it to be wonderful,... I'm currently waiting for "Powergirl vs the furies"
