Suicide is a statement.

Ah oright I get what your saying. Yea they are attention seekers, I had a mate, well ex-mate who was a spoilt little brat who had everything easy, I mean his rich Daddy paid for everything for him, paid his rent, paid for his food and even his phone bill. But for some reason he thought his life was hard so he attempted suicide and failed. He actually admitted to everyone he was only doing it for attention. Needless to say he isn't anyones friend anymore.

Yea maybe, but he deserved it. If he was genuinly depressed and upset and really wanted to take his life then all of us would of been there for him. But he actually said it himself that it was only for attention.

It's basically the same principle as someone telling you that they have cancer or something just for sympathy, then you find out they were lying the whole time. I wouldn't be that persons friend any longer.

But still, the guy's obviously got some issues. Maybe he needed help. Maybe having his friends abandon him will help? I don't know. I'm not an expert.

Oh yea it was a fake attempt, he took like 3 painkillers and then bottled it. One of my other mates was round his house when he done it, he told us exactly what he did.

Some people view suicide as a last f*** you to life choosing when your going to die and you having no control of it. Its kinda like slapping got in the face if you believe in him, like you put your own period at the end of your life, no one does it for you.

the point is, those who are willing to commit suicide need help. usually if its public anyway, its a last ditch effort for someone to help them, suicide attempts are a cry for help. you go help those people, not shove them away. That will only make things worse.

The actual action of killing yourself is insanely brave, I wouldn't have the bottle to do it. But to want to just kill yourself because you find life too hard is cowardly IMO.

True Story, about 2 years ago, one of my best friends Anthony, in despair due to having a massive coke habit which went hand in hand with the deep depression he was going through at the time, ate two full packets of paracetamol and washed them down with a litre of vodka. Woke up the next day without even a hangover, and got a slap of his Dad for drinking all his vodka.

It gave him a new lease of life to be fair. He's still a coke head on a smaller scale, but is much more of a jolly person now.
