Don't be silly. You know what I'm talking about. LOL

celldog said:Nope......not lately. that's for darn sure! Quit making excuses for these groups.
Amira said:Go to hell you CINO (chirtian in name only)...iraq anyone? Have you even seen the news? the rapes? the slaughtered families?
No. Seriously, I don't. What "groups"?celldog said:Don't be silly. You know what I'm talking about. LOL
What's your point?War Lord said:You have 200,000 troops in Iraq and you have like 3 rapes and 2 families shot.
Not that should happen, but it's a highly rare occurance, probably less now than in any other war.
Cho Chang said:What's your point?
So what?War Lord said:That less of that stuff is happening in Iraq than any other war.
Cho Chang said:People cared. North Americans just didn't care until it landed on their doorstep. Now instead of asking why they ask who, as if it's just that easy. You want to stop terrorism, start with the WTO and then wash your own dirty laundry.
Cho Chang said:So what?
You're a fool. Do you really believe that Osama Bin Laden is a muslim extremist?CrAzYMoFo said:The USS Cole was actually a US Destroyer that was hit by Al-Qaeda suicide bombers in 2000 so... its been on our doorstep for some time now yet went without confrontation.
I hate when people try to justify the actions of Al-Qaeda and the like by blaming the big bad US. I hate the mentality that all of the actions of the minority can be justified because of majority suppression. The fact is that its not like the entire Middle East hates us. It is true that many do oppose us, but they are a minority whom conduct radical actions in order to prove their point. So don't act like we can't change the region by destroying the organizations that threaten everybody. The truth is that the Iraq war is more like a street gang war than a national war. The war was over after 3 weeks, now we have to rat out all the organizations who recruit people to their cause with propaganda, like a street gang.
The war shouldn't be going on in the first place. If even one woman is raped so that North America can have a tighter hold on OPEC, it's one woman too many.War Lord said:Exactly.
So what if any of that happens. It happens and nothing should be made of it.
If it happens, prosecute those who are guilty of it and move on.

Clearly.CrAzYMoFo said:Uhhhh... sure.... btw I love how you don't address anything I say in my post.![]()
You don't think that radical Islam is a leading cause for terrorism? You don't see how Ayatollah Khomeini used Islam as a way to recruit youth into his war against Iraq by sending armies out equipped with only a Koran, a Key into heaven, and a promise of eternal paradise? You clearly don't know your history.
Cho Chang said:Clearly.
Khomeini's a nut. As well as a convenient excuse to continue conducting an unjustified war. An unjustified war which just so happens to be Khomeini's excuse to conduct a jihad. Osama Bin Laden...still not an Islamic extremist, but a calculated business man, exploiting religion (amongst other things) to convince foolish serfs to do his bidding, much like the American president and the lemmings nipping at his heels.
lol. Seriously though, it's impossible to stop. Especialy with bombs and guns. It would be nice if it were that easy, but it's not. The government knows this, but I'm not entirely convinced that the war on terror is about terrorism at all. If it was then why did Paul Bremer (American temp Iraqi leader following Saddam's disposal) immediately push back Iraqi elections while he manipulated Iraqs foreign trade regulations, removing all tariff protection and selling off all of Iraq's national banks to foreign investors? This was the very first thing done in Iraq. The second was to begin construction on a 26 building American embassy on 406 acres of Iraqi land. It might speak freedom, but it smells and looks a lot like imperialism.CrAzYMoFo said:Yes exactly, Osama, like Khomeini, exploited religion to get his way. That is why organizations like that must be stopped before they have the power to spread their ideologies even farther.
About the President... I really don't see how this is a religious war that we're fighting. Trust me, I've spoken to my share of religious nut conservatives myself, and their motivations for the war are purely racist rather than religious.![]()
