Unfortunately, surgery to make you taller is actually pretty common in Asian countries where people are shorter but height is prized.

China apparently banned the practice in 2006, though I thought I saw another article about Korean mothers taking their kids to have their legs lengthened.

Fah! I live near India and people come in all sizes. I guess it's different near the Far East. But here over at the South-East, a man's height is prized only by superficial girls
(they should superficially be thinking about the size of other things in the male body).
