BvS Man of steel's battle ranked #1 of 2013

The Hong Kong fight sequence in Pacific Rim is far and away the best of the year. I liked the final fight between Superman and Zod but it was exhaustive at that point in the film, kind of a drag after the bloated world destroyer sequence. And then there's the obvious criticisms about the setting of the fight and flippancy for the destruction.

This... The Hong Kong battle is not as great and outstanding as the Supes vs Zod or Faora/Nam-ek vs Supes fight. I mean giant robots. We've seen that. nothing new. I loved the visuals on Rim but I liked MOS fights more because they plasmed smth never before seen on screen and as much fans as we dream.

I loved the fights in Man of Steel because they were easier to follow, even the Zod vs Jor El fight!

I love this fight. I see it akin to Spider-Man 2's train fight sequence. Only Spider-Man can fight have a fight that begins on the side of a building, then fight while falling from that building and trying to stay on the building, then land on a train and fight standing up, then all along the train. Only Superman can fight a villain on the ground then into a skyscraper, then fight across a couple blocks in the air, then into space on a satellite and then finally crashing back to Earth. It's just so amazing like the train fight.

Wow. This is precisely what I have always thought about S-M2 for so long, and it's what I believe about MOS to the max.

I'm sorry but I just can't get enough of the MOS battles every time I watch it on DVD. It's like Smallville unleashed with a bigger budget.

God I love this scene. A car drops three to four stories and lands on his head and he shrugs it off like a boss.

Smallville fight was better imo. Faora and nam-Ek team tagging to beat the **** out of Supes was a joy to watch.
