Hell yeah he would! After The Acolyte I’ve been dying to see him as some kind of superhero or villain role.

I don’t know if we would ever get to the Eradicator but he could start out as a cool antagonist/weapon for Brainiac (or Jor-El) and then eventually have his redemption arc. I don’t want them to do the Death/Reign story again but I think the heroic Eradicator could still be factored in.

Yeah he really is an awesome character as a villain or an antihero. I hope we get to him.

Given that the fortress has superman robots and we may get brainiac, I think this could easily happen from a story perspective.

Lee Pace would be epic as Brainiac. I’m one of the few who really loved his Ronan performance and I felt like he didn’t get enough credit for that. It would be cool to see him as Brainy and really **** up Superman’s world.

Brainiac: Claes Bang (Bang has been good to amazing in everything I’ve seen him in and now that his name is out there it’s hard to picture anyone else in the role.)

L-Ron (voice): Wallace Shawn (I feel like Shawn is an actor that Gunn would want to work with but the scoopers just got the character wrong. He would be perfect to voice an annoying robot sidekick. David Hyde Pierce would be great for this as well).

Lena Luthor: Sarah Snook (I love the idea of Lex’s morally questionable sister swooping in to save Luthorcorp from the PR nightmare Lex caused in the first movie)

I think L-Ron was always in the script but Peters wanted him to sound like that one guy in Chasing Amy.

Anyway, L-Ron traditionally wasn’t Brainiac’s sidekick in the comics; he actually served Manga Khan. But I think Brainiac having a robot sidekick is a little easier to buy than an alien monkey sidekick. Even though the latter certainly sounds like something Gunn would want to lean into.
