Belgium. They know waffles, but can't do jack when it comes to medicine.
Oh boy. Here we go.That's because a lot of people apparently have only selective value for human life.

It isn't a selective value of life. It is determining whether or not you are keeping someone alive for selfish reasons. No one really wants to die themselves. And no one wants a loved one to die. But sometimes it would be cruel not to let them go when you realize that their quality of life might not be so great. I know this from experience.
What you want is not always what is best for you. It might sound strange in this context, but it really isn't.
It really isn't always that simple. If it comes to a person's life. Then **** yeah, what they want is what is best.

Cue Hollywood producers buying the rights to make a (bad) movie.

The guy does not sound like he is mad that he's alive, though. Seriously, would you be able to look this man in the face and tell him "they should have let you die?" That's pretty much the equivalent of telling someone "your mom should have had an abortion."
