Yeah I heard about that, pretty disappointed. Well at least we're getting enough interesting movies in December, and the Summer of 2013 is looking even more solid with WWZ added.

I guess they figured that they would make more money in the summer, and I can understand that. A zombie movie releasing near December isn't probably going to pull as many people in as it would in summer. Some Tom Cruise movie replaced it, which I probably won't be seeing... I like Cruise, but the movie doesn't sound too interesting.

I think it'll manage to still make money, especially opening weekend. Pitt always pulls in the large crowds but Man of Steel will probably blow it away the following weekend.

Edit: Looks like this isn't opening before Man of Steel, nevermind.

They're looking to make this into a franchise. It's a big budget film with an A-list lead actor. A summer release makes perfect sense. We're not talking about Shaun of the Dead here.

Supposedly the man was on drugs or might of been on drugs so very unlikely he was a zombie.

He was on "bath salts". Its the most lethal drug on the market from what I've read. It is a hallucinogenic similar to LSD but way worse. The DEA is attempting to make all the ingredients illegal but they are stuggling to get it done.
Anyways the victim had 80% of his facial tissue chewed off and only has his right eye left. No nose no nothing. Its horrible.
