Supposedly the man was on drugs or might of been on drugs so very unlikely he was a zombie.
Thanks for clarifying that for me.

Paramount’s decision to push the release date for G.I. Joe: Retaliation back by nine months was considered an extremely bold move – one which also reeked of desperation, given the timing – so in that sense, the studio’s six-month delay of World War Z seemed more reasonable. After all, the latter announcement was made nine months in advance of the zombpocalyptic thriller’s original Winter 2012 release date – and really, WWZ just reads as being a better fit for summer.
However, just as it recently came to light that G.I. Joe 2 may have really been delayed so as to allow for extensive re-shoots (in the hopes of salvaging the film) – it’s also starting to look like World War Z could be in a bad spot.
The Daily Mail says that Brad Pitt and certain other members of the World War Z cast are participating in seven weeks’ worth of additional photography for the film, beginning on-location in Budapest. Although there’s been no suggestion yet that director Marc Forster won’t be supervising said re-shoots, his involvement is (technically) unconfirmed for the time being. That also goes for co-stars Matthew Fox and James Badge Dale – the latter of which may be unavailable in the immediate future, since he’s also appearing in Iron Man 3
I smell diaster.
This movie should've been like District 9..a mix of news footage, interviews with a narrative, like the book.

Well there goes my anticipation. When studios do this it rrarely turns out well. Either they want to make the movie how they want it and end up turning it into ****. Or its already **** and the reshoots will make it somewhat watchable. Either way this sucks. Is the battle of Yonkers even in the film?
That is what I'm thinking. I wonder if Paramount wants a straight action/war movie about a zombie/human war rather than a documentary about the aftermath?

Screenwriter Damon Lindelof has been brought in to save Paramount’s troubled zombie movie World War Z.
The big-budget movie, in which Brad Pitt stars and is serving as one of the producers, has been troubled, and its release has been pushed from a December, 2012 release to June, 21 2013. It is now awaiting signficant reshoots. Lindelof, the Lost co-creator and co-author of Ridley Scott and Fox’s Prometheus, is said to be focusing on the movie's third act. The production hopes to begin reshoots in September or October.
