Mark Wahlberg to Produce and Star in The Disciple Program

Universal Pictures has acquired Tyler Marceca's spec script The Disciple Program, with Mark Walhberg attached to star and produce, reports Variety.

Headhunters helmer Morten Tyldum is set to direct the film, which Wahlberg and Steve Levinson will produce through Leverage Entertainment.

According to the trade, the "story revolves around a man investigating his wife's mysterious death only to find out it goes much deeper than he imagined."
