I'm basing a Poll on the character's Marrissa Cooper brought to the show.

Oliver-Ah my fav of the bunch. This exploding psycho met Marrissa in therapy. From there on he started to become obsessed with her, even holding a gun to his head because he could never be with her. And lets not forget all the lies he told.

Alex-Marrissa's first and last lesbian love. If only the O.C was 18+.

Volchok-The man you love to hate, the man who watched the sound of music, the man who caused Marrissa's death.

Johnny-The surfer ***** who fell in love and fell off a cliff, what an idiot.

i never watched past the first epi really. its not that i wasnt interested, im sure if i had watched it from the beginning i might have been hooked, but it was just one of those shows i couldnt pick up later on. anyways, i was just wondering how marissa died, like i said, never watched the show but im curious.

Volchok who was dating Marissa was more less a drug taking tug. He cheated on Marrissa at prom. I think about 3 eps later Ryan and Marissa are driving and Volchok starts to ram the car from behind and then rams it to the side causing the car to crash. Ryan helps Marissa out of the gas leaking car. He lays her down and she tells him to stay with her and she dies.

I bet Ryan would have become like Volchok if he never met the Cohen's but in a less Volchokish way. I think Ryan would have stole alot and would have got in more fist fights.
