Notice how they are all saying oh dont worry the sequel will be better, please guys dont fall for that line. That's what most flops do promise a bigger and better sequel.

IGN recently spoke to James Marsters and Justin Chatwin -- who play Lord Piccolo and Goku in Dragonball Evolution -- and the pair spilled the beans on the future of the movie franchise.

Firstly, Marsters told us why he hopes the film is successful enough to get a sequel and how many DB movies he'd like to see: "I hope [the movie does well] because my character only really gets interesting in the second film, I mean he's interesting now! But his journey is really developed in the script for the second movie."

He went on: "All I know is I've been signed to three movies, but I would like to make five -- seven of them. You could just pretty much paint by numbers using the wealth of source material to easily get the seven films. There's that much there."

If this movie does flop, we won't be getting a reboot. Don't kid yourself. Studios would think it would be too risky.

So naturally I want sequels just to see DBZ in some kind of live-action form. And let's be honest, no one in America knows **** about the original series, so DBZ in the title would get more butts in the seats.

If you don't want a sequel that's fine, don't watch it.

After what they did to this movie, I'd rather not see what they'll do to DBZ.

Please stop posting what Marsters are saying it been the same since he has been cast!

HA HA HA HA.

This film will not get six sequels. It will be lucky to get one.

Judging by how bad DB:Z is, I don't think I want six more of this turd out of Fox.

I'd like some of whatever masters is smoking, if he honestly thinks this crap is going to warrant 6 more sequels.

Saw another tv spot with the cartoonetwork guy voice over kamehameha looks different.

Oh, wow, I really disagree with that one. Sure, DBZ gets more attention than DB and DBGT but the fanbase for one franchise stems into all the fanbases. Fans will always prefer one era over the other, but there are many many MANY fans of all three, not just Z. If you are a fan of one, you know more than enough on all three series.

Agreed.

Masters better be prepared to put his own money into this then :o

if this does and i think it will make a profit they better get new director asap the actors didn't bother me the director just sucks and who ever did the script

I like Spike (I refuse to call him anything else) just as much as the next nerd but I honestly don't care about his contractually obligated positive statements about this..."film."

I think this is his first big budget movie...so I think he was just excited to be in the moment of it....Can't blame him that the movie will bomb here. He's just an actor and he's just hoping he has a movie career
