I liked every single Scorsese film since 2002. Love Aviator, Gangs of New York and Shutter Island, and really liked The Departed.

This has A LOT of potential.

there is no way that Martin would make a boring movie like that. and the trailer makes this look like a f... boring movie. so bravo to Paramount for making this trailer. i dont see how this trailer could work for adults.

It's beautiful but paramount made it look like a generic kids movie. When I'm sure it's not.

I was actually excited for this film being that it is a Martin Scorsese film, but this trailer makes the film look bland and boring. It didn't have that magical feel I was looking for. I hope the film itself is better than this trailer.

Wow....either Scorsese decided to become a hack for a day (or a picture, rather) or Paramount tried to hide what is likely a film full of life and creative energy. That trailer has made me all of a sudden a bit cautious about this movie and I'll check out reviews now, but I'm still more than confident that Paramount is trying to sell it with cookie cutter marketing because they don't know how to sell a family movie that is anything but. At least, I hope so.

God, the 30 Seconds to Mars song made me cringe. I think they're really hiding the true quality of this film. It's over long and focuses too much on the hijinks of things. I predict a much better film than this trailer is showing us. You don't get these many great actors directed by Scorsese and it's ****.

I think more of the plot, less hijinks and a more film-appropriate song selection (recall the use of Gimme Shelter, Shipping Up to Boston and Comfortably Numb in The Departed trailer or the use of Love, Actually's joy theme in The Aviator to see how Scorsese can cut a trailer) would have worked. The song was generic and the trailer focusing almost entirely on what appears to be a chase scene makes it underwhelming. The stuff around Ben Kingsley seemed interesting and I hope that is the movie we're not seeing.

This looks like a classic case of "Good Movie, Terrible Trailer" to me. At least I hope so. The kids' acting and the cinematography look lovely. The tone of the trailer was just all...off.

The footage they showed was underwhelming and I don't like the song choice but I think it could be that Paramount don't know how to market this so I'm not worried. I'm still excited for this, just the fact that the movie is different than what Scorsese usually does and I'm curious how he'll approach on the 3D aspect.

I watched the trailer yesterday and it was meh.Didn't find it interesting at all.It might be good but from what they showed so far it doesn't look like much to be honest even if Scorsese is the director.
