This is kind of a simple but direct question, which person has arguably been more controversial if not flat out toxic for Marvel cartoons, Loeb today or Arad back in the '90s?

without a doubt, Loeb is POISON for the Marvel animation department... and his partner in crime, Joe Quesadilla should be included, as well...

Avi haters are funny. The man is one of the main reasons why we even had Marvel shows in the 90s.

I'm not familer with the careers of either one in Marvel Animation. Where can I read up on that?

I only know of them both from interviews on the various Marvel movie DVD's features, I mean it's not like they're constantly in the spotlight like celebrities on TMZ are that I can formulate an opinion on them.

Jeph Loeb is just some bald guy and Avi Arad from his interviews seems rather pompous when praising even the dumbest of Marvel movies as if he had a hand in creating them.

I argee but to be fair that is his job. I't wouldn't be very professional to say something like "Yeah Daredevil is one of the classic comic book characters but man does this movie version stink."

I know for sure that the head of Fox Kids, Margaret Loesch was ultimately fed up w/ having to do business w/ Arad, which in return, was one of the main factors behind the cancellation of said Spider-Man show.

The show had jumped the shark by the point, so it doesn't really matter. Fact is, Avi Arad, like him or hate him, put Marvel Entertainment on the map. And he did it at a time when Marvel was filing for bankruptcy. The guy, more or less, rescued the company. You gotta give credit where its due.
