As much as I love Cap's classic look, the Ultimate WWII-era one is the best, most practical Captain America uniform I've seen. That'd be one of the few cases where I'd be all right with Ultimate stuff crossing over into 616 comics. But only the WWII-era one. The modern Ultimate costume blows monkey ass.

I hate both of the modern-day Ultimate costumes. The WWII-era one ruled, though.

Because it's basically the classic costume with a weaker motif thanks to the random gray elements thrown in for no reason? The fact that Hitch drew it is really the only reason it looks as good as it does, in my opinion. The design itself is just a weaker, unnecessarily complicated version of the classic design.

I actually like his costume from New Invaders #1 cover in lower right of the picture that I just posted.

So if I can my vote would go to JOHNNY WALKER as "The CAPTAIN AMERICA" with the "911 shield" from New Invaders.
