This action-packed 6 disc box set includes the big screen adaptations of Marvel Comics' most famous characters.

X-Men:
Born into a world filled with prejudice, some children possess extraordinary and dangerous powers - the result of genetic mutations. Cyclops unleashes bolts of energy from his eyes. Storm can manipulate the weather at will. Rogue absorbs the life force of anyone she touches. But under the tutelage of Professor Xavier (Patrick Stewart) these and other outcasts learn to harness their powers for the good of mankind. Now they must protect those who fear them as the nefarious Magneto (Ian McKellan), who believes that humans and mutants can never co-exist, unveils his sinister plan for the future! Pulsing with state-of-the-art special effects and unforgettable characters, X-Men is X-traordinary.

X-Men 2:
Mutants continue their struggle against a society that fears and distrusts them. Their cause becomes even more desperate following an incredible attack by an undetermined assailant possessing extraordinary abilities. The shocking attack renews the political and public outcry for both a Mutant Registration Act, and an anti-mutant movement, now led by William Stryker. A vocal, wealthy, former commander for the Army, Stryker, is rumored to have experimented on mutants. Stryker's dubious mutant "work" is somehow tied to Logan's/Wolverine's mysterious and forgotten past. As Logan/Wolverine searches for clues to his origin, Stryker puts into motion his anti-mutant program--launching a severe attack on Professor Xavier's mansion. Magneto, newly escaped from his plastic prison, proposes a partnership with Professor Xavier and the X-Men to combat their common and formidable enemy: Stryker. With the fates of Xavier, mankind, and mutantkind, in their hands, the X-Men face their most dangerous mission yet.

Daredevil:
Ben Affleck is Matt Murdock, a.k.a Daredevil. As a young boy he lost his sight in a chemical accident, which left him with his other senses superhumanly enhanced (and some incredible acrobatic skills). Flash forward and Matt is working by day as a pro bono lawyer (with partner Jon Favreau) and by night as a righteous avenger. The plot sees New York supercriminal Kingpin (Michael Clarke Duncan) calling on Irish assassin Bullseye (Colin Farrell) to take care of some business involving the father of Jennifer Garner's Elektra (with whom Matt falls head over heels in love). Daredevil is a shadowy comic book fantasy that provides plenty of fast-paced, high-kicking action.

Elektra:
Superstar Jennifer Garner proves that looks can kill as the sexiest action hero ever to burst from the pages of Marvel Comics. Restored to life after sustaining mortal wounds in Daredevil, an icy, solitary Elektra (Garner) now lives only for death as the world’s most lethal assassin. Using her bone-crunching martial arts skills and Kimagure—the ability to see into the future—Elektra is on a collision course with darkness... until her latest assignment forces her to make a choice that will lead either to her redemption or destruction in the ultimate battle between good and evil!

Fantastic Four:
Marvel’s first family of comic superheroes comes to the big screen! When an experimental space voyage goes wrong, four people are dramatically changed by cosmic rays to become the Fantastic Four. Reed Richards (Ioann Gruffudd) is Mr Fantastic who develops the amazing talent to elongate his body; Susan Storm (Jessica Alba) is Invisible Woman who not only can become invisible at will but can also render other objects invisible; her brother, Johnny (Chris Evans) ignites into Human Torch, a guy who can shoot fire from his fingertips and bend flame, and Ben Grimm (Michael Chiklis) turns into The Thing, a hideously misshapen monster with super human strength. Together, they form a force of good to battle the evil Victor Von Doom (Julian McMahon) – aka Doctor Doom.

Special Features:

Well that's all well and good but any fan bought all of these already.

Boo! No special editions and the only extra you get is a DVD on the history of Marvel Comics?!?

C'mon Marvel, you can do better than that. :o

I think it's more Fox than Marvel.
But I don't see it being a big sell; as Roughneck pointed out, most fans already have the movies & I can't bring myself to buy Elektra.

I already own the only 2 movies worth getting in that box set.

No chance in hell I'm paying for Elektra or Fantastic Four.

It's a cute trick by corporate to get some Elektra discs off their hands.

I saw these at Costco last month.

It's just a gimmic to try and sell crappy movies.

no Hulk ... thats a f**king piss take!

oh right...sorry, my bad :O

It's not just a gimmick. Not everyone is a comic book fan, and not everyone has seen all of these movies. It's a good starting point for someone to grab the whole bunch. Every year there's a new batch of kids introduced to this stuff, and new fans are born. Also it would be an awesome X-Mas gift. It'll sell fine. Obviously it's not gonna sell like brand new releases but it's a great idea IMO. Also the more money Fox can milk out of these franchises the more profit they make and the faster sequels will come out.

They aren't going to make sequels for Daredevil or Elektra based off the sales of this set.

^ I never said this set would be responsible for any sequel. I said it only ads to the profit they make and the faster sequels will come out. Elektra 2 won't happen in our lifetime though Daredevil might. Also this set is for Austrailia only so it's good Marvel is focusing on giving the International market some attention.
