Slated to air on Disney +'s year two.

I’ll watch it but I’m a bit over “he’s dead! No he’s not”

Is there any realm from the 9 realms that we haven't seen in the Thor films?

Nah he should be more like “can we trust him? No”

Death and rebirth just gets boring after a while. It’s the worse part of comic books, when death is meaningless

i think we all know how this show will now get around his infinity war death lol

Will Loki jump between branched timelines? Also, I'm guessing that we'll Marvel take a mulligan on Malekith although I don't expect him to be played by Eccleston. Hopefully also Hela since Cate Blanchett returning would be a dream come true. I also really want to see Loki in Niffleheim, particularly Hel and explore Alfheim.

I have no idea how this is going to go since obviously there won't be any Thor for him to play off of.

would love to see blanchett return as well

but there is so much untouched thor lore for them to go through, would be nice to see

Really looking forward to this. Hiddleston was another stellar casting by Marvel.

Hel(heim) land of the dead & Alfheim home of the Bright Elves
I think Hel is technically part of Niffleheim in the Marvel Universe, but it would be nice to see.

Also not technically a realm, but I'd love to see Nornheim. It would have to be moved because, in the comics, it was part of Asgard. Or the story could be a prequel, which is fine. I'd like to see Baldur, who would have to die before Ragnarok anyway.

This show is the wildcard for me. It's a smart choice to utilize a popular character and actor, but I'm not really sure what ground there is left to cover for Loki. Curious regardless.

Just wanted to drop by to say that whenever a thread for Hiddleston in this series will be created, it should be titled "Loki who's back".
Ahem.

Didn't The Other want him to get the Tesseract?

In which case he succeeded via multiversal means.

Jaws? So... Either time travel or a look at Loki going to Earth some time before the events of the first Thor movie?

Back to the Future Part 2 starring Loki. His meddling with the timeline accidentally causes George Lucas to choose his pseudo-documentary, black and white version of Apocalypse Now over Star Wars.

Since we now know that we'll be getting a Thor 4 it'll definitely be interesting to see how this ties into that if at all.

To me, it depends on where the character goes and what he does that's most interesting. Loki is a vehicle to explore all that. Interestingly, he'll be in a world where the Nine Realms are all intact so maybe we can explore them a little more and introduce some other characters who would be otherwise difficult to introduce.
