A few reasons. She is now on the radar of the worst of the fandom. That Captain Marvel and the Avengers game have riled up.

Yeah, unfortunately it's not going to be pretty and she's very young so hopefully she gets a lot of support.

Not a big deal, especially since there is a new writer and director for the sequel. Hurt feelings won't keep Ms. M out of CM2. And being a Brie fangirl was not only a good look, but appropriate for her character!
