5. Ben Reily survives, grows two extra arms and has a child with Spiderwoman IV.

Morning at the NewYork Shiar Ambassy:

Being a third Cousin to the Current Empress didn't prevent Rokk'Hrll from being put on this world as an ambassador representing the Shiar.

In fact,... to use the local venacular,.... It sucked.

But here he was Screening thru this mornings Primitives who have come up with requests involving shiar tech, shiar medicines, Shair social-economic procedures, in short EVERYTHING which had been forbidden by the Empress HERSELF.

And he had to find new and interesting ways to say "no" so as not to offend these touchy Earthers.

If it were not Easier to destroy this world than take over it,.......

16 Primitives later his morning improved with the explosive arrival of DeathBird and the Human Mutant called Forge?, Backstreet?, Minister?, oh yes,... Bishop.

Explosive because like usual they were arguing,...... by using weapons and shooting energy at each other.

Rokk'Hrll enjoyed this because it gave him an excuse to throw the rabble out with the rest of the garbage infesting this planet.
.

Deathbird was Screeching something about concubines and Bishop was responding in his much deeper voice that he would be no birds *****,....

Whatever that meant.

The cause for the dispute picked her way thru the destroyed entrance to the embassy.

En-Ne-Man-Ni-Mar-Ra, was of the oldest profession in Shiar society as a household provider, perserver,... In Human Terms She was A nanny, Maid,Housekeeping, child bearing, sexual and physical release "person" who's family had served the royal family for over a thousand years.

It appeared that DeathBird had sent her to Bishop to get him trained in the same fashion.
.
Without Asking him if he wanted the job.

Rokk'Hrll didn't want to be killed so he kept a blank face toward the "conversation" being discussed while he chortled inside.

"Heh Heh,.... this is going to be good"

.

What about the Punisher AS DAREDEVIL??????

Well,
Frenzy,............ Like Charcoal,. and Sync,.. were missed opertunities by Marvel.

Jean Grey Exorcised the demons that drove her and made her "rational" while she was with the Xmen. Made her sane enough that when Jean was done with her,.. she dropped off the face of the earth, gave up being a SuperVillian.

Here was the person that Shoulda been Jessica Jones.

So,... Whenever I'm at the comic store and we talk about what Marvel "Shoulda done",... In addition to letting Leech grow up and Have Glatiator win more,.. I mention how they let her slip away into obscurity without a whimper.

Alot of these ideas are really out there. This is like Marvel Universe: The End.

Really?

A lot I see as "In OUR WORLD, it would've happened."
Examples - Spiderman:

Any Cloning Process that could remain "Stable" for five years to where the Clone Believes himself to be "Peter Parker" Is not going to breakdown to dust Ala-Vampire when hit with a mortal injury. Ben Reily, with all his P&A died too easily,.. Spiderman, (Basic-the same Person), had survived worse.

There has GOT to be a point in the LIFE of a HERO where EVERYTHING is OKAY for an extended period - Heck,.. Superman has gotten A year off,.. Why can't Peter have a Year off?

The Stacy Family:
C'mon! Dad, Daughter, Son, Other Daughter, All put thru Changes because of ONE HERO????

If any group deserves respect or SuperVillian status,.. it's the Stacy's.

Okay...so whats the point to all of this.
In exiles there are obviously thousands of Alternate Marvel Universes.

I just Picked the most likely one to occur if Marvel were not catering to the fanboy element,... one with less strife and more stability where people, creatures, alien races would act more along how they were put up in canon.

In Canon,.. The Shiar,..The Kree, and the Skrull Would have a finger in any place they couldn't easily take over.

Earth Qualifies.

In Canon,... any group with the charter ideals of the X-men would have more than one team.

In Canon,.. If The Thing REALLY found a woman who cared for him before she became a "she-Thing" he would've hooked up with her and been Married.

V.

Roughneck is right, this belongs in the fan fic section. also, nothing on your list is canon within the Marvel U.

For a Change,... DeathBird called a Halt to the "conversation".

"WAIT LUCAS - This is not getting us anywhere."

Rokk'Hrll was dissapointed,.... No Bloodshed.

DeathBird Touched down and stepped toward Bishop with body language that shifted from "I'm going to kick your azz" to " I need you to listen to me please".

She stepped close to the surprised X-Man And spoke too softly for Rokk Hrll to hear while pointing at the perserver.

When Bishop looked away in the preservers direction,.. DeathBird jabbed him with a battle ampule,..(Standard Shiar Military issue, used to put mortally damaged soldiers into a deep sleep so they can be transported safely,.. Something Rokk Hrll had used himself once.), Bishop had just enough time to look back in surprise and hear the begining of, "I'm sorry my love" before he dropped like a bag of rocks.

Rokk Hrll nodded in approval. That's how you handle these "people".

He watched DeathBird motion to the perserver, who came up and threw Bishop over her shoulder like he were a toddler before they both started walking deeper into the Embassy.

Rokk Hrll sighed in a mixture of envy, and relief.

Envy of What Bishop was probably about to go through,

Relief that he didn't have to worry about it happening to him.

.

Turning from watching the two,.. he called for cleanup of the now trashed lobby.

really?

Now I'm curious,.. name one that is not possible within the canon of the characters mentioned.

I'm not sure you have a proper understanding of what 'in canon' refers to. with regards to fiction it means that storylines, characters, and events are recognized as to have occurred within the set fictional universe. so for instance stating that Ben Grimm marrying Sharon Ventura before she was mutated is 'in canon' isn't exactly true as it never occurred within the Marvel U.

I define "Canon" As a known behavior, power, ability, trait,or habit that has been shown in the comic's to be true to the character or situation.

It is "Canon" that the Fantastic four are a family - Even though Ben Grim is in no way related.

In "Canon" Ben Grim has spent YEARS looking for someone outside of his "family" that saw him as a person,.. not a monster or meal ticket.

If he "Found" such a person, (And he did), It was common knoweledge that he would try to settle down with that person in a relationship, (How many years of Alicia?)

He found Ventura,... She liked him for him,... she was changed into She-Thing,... Frankly I'm surprised she hasn't looked him up since.

then even by your definition none of what you posted would be considered canon. you may feel that Ben would have married Sharon Ventura but since he didn't it therefore doesn't adhere to his official behavior.

not to mention she eventually joined the Frightful Four which Ben probably had a problem with.

Like the sandman,... who was his drinking buddy for a while before he was brainburned back into being evil?

You keep saying "no" w/o explaining why my definition is flawed and the list couldn't be considered canon.
For example all three space empires have "embassy's" on worlds that for different reasons they didn't try to take over,.. yet you consider it out of canon that any would park one here?

because canon by definition must be official. it can't simply be what you feel the character would do. you state that canon is defined as known behavior but Ben marrying Sharon Ventura or the various alien races within the Marvel U setting up embassies on earth isn't known behavior because it's never happened.

??
Are you saying that "Canon" is ONLY what has happened?

In that case,.... The empires covered HAVE set up on planets that they could not or chose not to destroy or take over.

Are you trying to say that because they didn't put one on earth that it was because of a behavior trait that sez they won't?

The ENTIRE IDEA OF CANON as I defined it is the baseline that exiles the comic is based on.

you're looking at the wrong aspect of what Canon refers to. It's not the characters it's the history.
Canon refers to the history of what HAS happened within marvel.

You can take what is Canon and decide that your suggestions are logical but untill they actually happen they are not Canon.

Your suggestions are suitable for an alternate dimension/alternate future based fanfiction but they are not and will not ever be Canon.
All this stuff never happened within the Marvel 616 continuity. Get it?

YES!!

Varient said:

Exiles is based on characters from different realities correcting problems in in various alternate worlds and divergent timelines. how does that tie in with your definition?

It'd be canon that the surfer w/o any power adjustments on either guy will beat Captain America EVERYTIME.

Yet because they have never fought,..... it can't be canon by your definition.

..........................
Strangley enough I found over six seperate definitions for the word - here's my two:

Defined:
a rule or especially body of rules or principles generally established as valid and fundamental in a field or art or philosophy; "the neoclassical canon"; "canons of polite society"

A rule, standard or unit of measurement by which a writing was determined to be inspired or not; and the compilation of those writings considered inspired.

And yes,.. your definition was there too.:

In the context of fiction, the canon of a fictional universe comprises those novels, stories, films, etc. that are considered to be genuine, and those events, characters, settings, etc. that are considered to have inarguable existence within the fictional universe. Usually items that are considered canon come from the original source of the fictional universe while non-canon material comes from adaptations or unofficial items. ...

So,... While I now understand where you two are coming from,... Mine is still valid because Most of mine would come under the "canon" definition of character development - You know Captain America is a Patriot,... his robbing the Statue of Liberty is out of character and against the canon of his behavior.
