Good choices.

Ock utterly defeated and destroyed his foe more than Luthor ever did but Luthor gets to basically mock a god on a daily basis and occasionally kick him in the nads with a powered suit.

Ocks a crazy Mo(e)fo though while Luthor is sort of crazy but wildly sucessful at almost everything he does with a multi-billion networth empire that lets him basically pull crimes on national TV and then say it wasn't him so they arrest Joe from Engineering instead.

oh damn this is tough I love Ock and he's one of the few villains that managed to completely defeat his arch-nemesis and he get;s major points for that and overall he;s a great character and villain but Luthor is just Luthor, such a deep interesting, delightfully evil dude how can you not love him? I have to go with Luthor nearly anyone else against ock would loose but Lex is just the man

Luthor may be the man but did he ever so to Superman what Ock did to Spider-Man?

I don't think so, that's why Ock wins this one for me. He jumped several rungs after Superior.

Speaking of which, I think Darkseid was really the only one to get over Supes on that kind of scale as Ock did to Spider-Man.
