That raises an interesting, albeit unrelated question: How come Rogue doesn't just use one of those nullifiers to negate her powers? I mean, they're usually portrayed as just being collars. Not even very big ones. Not the most obstructive accessory in the world. And I bet you could get creative and disguise it as one of those goth-kid leather chokers. A majority of her problems would be solved if she just had one of those.

Because everyone in the MU is an idiot and character drama. Cyclops would have had a much better time if he just had a bracelet that could turn his powers off and on with a touch.

I mean, I suppose it comes with any long running sic-fi/adventure series. Characters have sci-fi ******** reasons why they're miserable, and then in an unrelated story a writer comes up with some technobabble for something else that would logically solve those characters' problems and no one notices.

Also, like, at least in Cyclops' case he already has his visor to keep his powers in check. But Rogue ain't got ****.
