I picked up all the episodes, finally. LOVE the zombie twists on classic covers.

I kinda dug the ending, even if it was a little silly, it did kinda put a 'wtf' type smile on my face and I get the feeling that was the intention. I still don't get it though, if destroying Cap's brain killed him, how comes it didn't work when Janet was totally decapitated?


Magneto's 'choke on me' reminded me of Day of the Dead.

I don't know why, I was rooting for Galactus as well...


I really love Marvel. I really love Zombies. So I hope to see this universe expanded in the future (Btw anyone else surprised Forge didn't come up with some gizmo to kill all the zombies? if pym could do something tot ake down galactus, after all...)

And another question: when did the Black Panther get so tough? He never seemed all that to me, but was pretty bad ass in this....

panther has always been a bad ass..the scene in avengers - Red Zone where panther breaks red skulls jaw is ace!

I was going to buy Marvel Zombies TPB since they were always ran out but last week I bought the reprint and I love this book.It's like a George A. Romero movie but funny.Marvel Zombie is a MUST read.

They should not have been able to devour either Galactus or Surfer being that neither really have biological bodies. Also I felt infecting every major 1st and 2nd string hero/villian was rather lame. People like Dr Doom, Sabretooth maybe even a few X-Men Like Havok or Colossus should have remained clean. It would have been more interesting to see some other famous character besides Forge, BP and Magneto uninfected. Its my opinion to that the writer did not do much research on any of these characters before writing this. A lot of infected folks were from other planets and shrouded parts of the globe and other dimensions which did not make a any bit of sense.

Marvel zombies 2 is really unlikely and marvel apes is a rumor more than likely a joke. Hopefully a joke.

with the right writer, who knows? it could be entertaining...but probably not.

I think that the "Marvel Apes" comment was poking fun at the "J.L.Ape" stoyline that DC did a couple years ago. At least I hope it was, since Marvel has had a tradition of stealing crossover miniseries ideas from DC ever since Secret Wars tried to duplicate the success of Crisis on Infinite Earths.
