Regardless of how that article begins, and it's worded somewhat unclearly, I'm pretty sure Overlord is not the last of ME2 DLC. Hudson gave an interview not too long ago that they're going to be bridging the gap to ME3 with more storyline DLC.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure I even remember reading somewhere that they were planning on doing an actual expansion pack for it at some point.

No problem. They're your standard cannon fodder goons, basically. Their whole motto, "Cut off one limb and two more shall take its place," pretty much says flat-out that they're cannon fodder. They're not as fun as their super-scientist offshoot AIM, though. Advanced Idea Mechanics, a.k.a. AIM = cannon fodder goons who only do super-science-based terrorism and wear bright yellow beekeeper outfits. It's the kind of absurdity that can only be taken for granted in superhero comics.

Well, I have the game coming from Gamefly, shipped today, should get it tomorrow. What type of awesome am I expecting here? Because I've heard a lot of great things, and level of customization seems to be incredibly impressive. Will I enjoy it?

I highly recommend the Overlord DLC that came out recently. It brings some of the planet exploration from ME1 back to the game, but in a much less bland and boring way. I think they're testing the water for ME3 in that respect, and it works really well. Got a review for it here.
