Mass Effect 2

Yes, Lair of the Shadow Broker ends the Shadow Broker storyline as we knew it.

The urge to play this game again is strong. But I was kinda hoping for a 3rd DLC to put it over the top. :o

Yeah. I want to play it again too, but I want to see what the rest of the bridging DLC is going to look like before I do.

There certainly are some of those.

As for replaying, I gotta go all the way back to ME and replay all the way through the ME 2 DLC. I'm curious about whether an active romance with Liara from ME 1 will affect "Lair of the Shadow Broker." I never actually chose to romance Liara through to the end of the game in my ME 1 play-throughs. :o

That isn't to say that there aren't clear implications about how this DLC will factor into ME3.
However the DLC factors into ME3 is not the Shadow Broker storyline as we knew it. Key words, woman!

It does. A little. Liara is my FemShep's girlfriend.

I remember when I got to that area of the game with all the info it allowed for to manipulate event's for further stuff in the future like mass effect 3. like stuff that had to do with the "console" like messing with that yes man ambassador and some companies. so i'm sure there's more things coming in term of bridging DLC and story lines.

I did all of those. Should be interesting to see how they turn out.

There's more each day. Sometimes they even come back as failed missions. I'm wondering if the success-failure rate of missions is fixed or random.

Oh, it keeps updating? Dang, I totally need to replay it and do this mission relatively early, then.

I think it may stop updating with new "investment" opportunities after three days. I got nothing new when I logged in this morning.

So I'm thinking of going back and doing a second playthrough on ME1 after I finish my current playthrough of ME2.

I'm going to make a Femshep and make different choices and port it to ME2. Question is, I can port more than one Shep from ME1 to ME2?

Just finished the Shadow Broker DLC and what to say that hasn't been said. This is the kind of DLC I'm willing to pay and I think I'm going to get Overload and Kasumi (yeah I know, a bit after) now. Overall a really superb job by Bioware and hope there's more like this in the future.

To confirm: It seems after three days, the "investment" missions end. I haven't had a new one spawn since then.

Bioware's spoiling me with all these periodic high quality releases, I want MOAR DAMN IT.

MOAAAAAARRRR

Yeah, same here.

I'd love for it to be earlier of course but I imagine the next major DLC will be released around the Holiday season with a small equipment pack along the way to hold us over.

I know the popular consensus right now is that it'll be something to do with the Virmire survivor.
