Mass Effect 2

I'm curious about the interactive comic as well. I hope we get some screenshots of it soon.

Just what I was worried about; PS3 exclusive content. Those of us who bought the game for the PC or 360, of course, get shafted--and when the sequel comes out, it's a safe bet there'll be exclusive content for both platforms, screwing you out of content no matter which you choose.

Edit: Ah, looks like my whining was premature. From the Bioware forums:

So PS3 owners just get the DLC for free.
After everything with Fallout 3, I stopped believing anything is ever exclusive.

I could see maybe one or two more big DLC packs (i.e. more than just some new armor or weapons or whatever) to coincide with the PS3 release. But we've already got a pretty big selection of DLC as it is. Unless they plan on wringing another 2 or 3 years out of ME 2, they've gotta give its DLC up and focus on ME 3 soon.

Once again, Hudson has said that multiple pieces of DLC storyline will count as ME 2.5 to bridge into ME3.

Stop trying to deny reality, you dinkus.

Yeah, ME2 dlc is going to happen up until the launch of 3, you watch. I'd be willing to bet that they'll even give us a "day before ME3" ME2 dlc. :p

I'll believe it when I see more "Lair of the Shadow Broker"-level stuff. BioWare gets no optimism from me! :argh:

You know, Corp, I feel the need to paraphrase an evil gnome from Fable III.

If I had a friend like you, I'd tell them all kinds of secrets. Like how I want to light you on FIRE.

I was expecting a GOTY-esque ME2 rerelease for the 360 with all the DLC included but guess it's only for the PS3? Sucks, since I've been waiting for it/have not bought any of the DLC.

I don't see why they couldn't still put out a GOTY edition.

Sadly, the humour is probably the only part of that game that isn't underdeveloped. I love the gnomes. "Winter is my favourite season, I love that snow--and that's when most people die!"

umm yeah I for got to put this up cause It didn't say much of any thing new and tronnys own seemed more important when put after words. I'll put up for you now.
BioWare Docs talk Dragon Age, Mass Effect, The Old Republic plans

but there is more coming as El Bastardo said . they just haven't said what it is, yet. I've been keeping my self locked to the main ME site too just in case.

who say's that's not happening?

all I'm seein is thei trying to out do bordertlands and bio shock in the amount of DLC they put out. doesn't mean a GOTY wont happen.

Eh. Not that this is the thread for this, but underdeveloped is subjective when used to refer to something that works and is a complete product.

So, yay, I guess we know what your feelings are?

I'll take my response to the Fable thread.

I'd wager we'll get some kind of dlc in time for Christmas.

I liked it when they had DLC coming out on a monthly schedule, even if some of it was stuff I didn't want (like some of the item/armour packs). I'm starting to go through ME withdrawl. I really liked the firepower pack; they should do another one of those.

Maybe I'll go start a super-renegade vanguard plathrough. Usually even my renegades are too noble.

You would think they'd put something in regards to that "exclusive" DLC.

They don't have a exclusive DLC, the '6 hour exclusive mission' was a misunderstood. What Bioware meant with the 6 hours of content included exclusively "On Disc" is (Kasumi, Shadow Broker, Overlord), The Interactive Back Story and the Cerberus Network Access.

Yeah, they had a good back-and-forth going with the DAO DLC. So when Witch Hunt was the last piece of DAO, and Lair of the Shadow Broker came out at the same time, I figured we'd see new ME2 DLC a month or two down the road.

I think the only DLC pack I haven't downloaded is the one with the Inferno Armor - because I dislike the full-suit armors, and I already have it from my purchase on Amazon. I'd take a small little taste pack in a heartbeat.

I have other games to play, but yeah, with no DLC sighting yet, I can see myself going back to ME1 and starting that human supremacist Shepard I keep thinking about playing.

Haha, if only dialogue could change more for ME 1 imports. Your Shepard would wake up, realize Cerberus saved him, and be like, "YES, let's go kill some alien b****es!"
