Eh I dont know. I guess they're doing their version of Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes where it is a sequel but none of the characters are returning.
Either way, it's gonna be hard to top those last three movies.
This is a weird idea. The original trilogy was pretty open-and-shut and done very well (enjoyed them a lot more than the book versions which ended on a bleak note) and yet they're rebooting it.......except it's not really a reboot and just a spin-off? That's like calling last year's Hunger Games prequel a "reboot". It's a misuse of a term!
