personally, I like it. I like the use of color that it uses, as it keeps an opverly bright look to Superman... it may be a bit bright for my tastes, but it does look colorfully appealing.

Yeah, I saw that one... not digging the writing on the belt though...Retroman said:kakarot, i'm not sure if you noticed but the artist has another concept there as well.

BTW Heres a interesting interview about the suit: http://www.superman-v.com/interview.php?id=4
P.S: The way the superman is profile from 3 different angles looks almost identical to something i saw in Alex Ross's MYTHOLOGY.

I can already imagine the fanboy complaints... The shield is too big - irony, irony -, what´s with the red on the belt, where are the briefs, etc.kakarot069 said:looking around on Deviant Art, I found this piece of art... seriously. I really like it... it has a more of a regal feel to it than the traditional/classic suit does, but that doesn't that I don't support the traditional/classic suit...pwl4life said:Seriously? THAT over Singers?![]()

I can agree with that.kakarot069 said:seriously. I really like it... it has a more of a regal feel to it than the traditional/classic suit does, but that doesn't that I don't support the traditional/classic suit...
I completely support the thought of change in the overall look of Superman's costume, as long as they keep a moderately bright color palette. Now keep in mind, I'm not saying Donner bright... heck, even the color palette on that one is a bit bright for my tastes... I would of preferred something a bit more muted... something like this:
darker than the Donner colors, but still has a very effective brightness to it, and still carries that overall positive look that Superman has in his character
I say McG because one of the people who built the Winston/McG suit describes something identical to this. No undies or yellow belt.kakarot069 said:hmm... it sounds like these designs were made at a time after the Burton Era had finished... these actually MAY be Ratner desgns...
Interesting....Antonello Blueberry said:Someone on these boards posted last year a manipulation of Routh with this suit on.
Probably someone who had already seen this design.
