i don't think he's in that - maybe the da vinci code DVD and the X3 DVD- its the first parky since it came out

Remember, too, that you can send questions to McKellen on his website. No guarantee he will choose to answer them, but it's a good way of asking him things about the movies. Keep it the point though, or they'll never get used. He's answered several of mine, and I've sent him more recently.

He and a few other members of the Flushed Away voice cast turned on the Regent Street Christmas lights on Tuesday. So it seems that he may be promoting that film. They'll probably spend most of time talking about him playing King Lear next March.

Go ahead and ask him, but keep it to a few sentences, and he'll probably answer.

He did indeed appear on Parkinson, mainly to talk about Flushed Away, King Lear (opens in Stratford-on-Avon, England, in January) and a six-month rest period during which he had a minor operation (didn't say what). He was askd about his gay activism and talked about Stonewall and how he came out on radio aged 49. He also spoke of his upbringing in Wigan, northern England. Such a nice person. And such a good Magneto (he didn't talk X-Men at all).
