MCU Tag Team Battles: Captain America & Winter Soldier VS Luke Cage & Iron Fist

This a fun tag team styled MCU battle thread to break up the monotony of our once a week MCU Fights. It can be 2 on 2, 2 on 2 on 1, 3 on 2, or even 3 on 1. Keep in mind this is purely for just fun and doesn't in any way effect our Power Tier.

Luke Cage & Iron Fist

So let's this started shall we....

Nice. I love tag-team battles. If it's TV Show Iron Fist then he would be the weak link and would go down quickly and then Cap and Bucky take out Luke. Of course if it was Bucky from TWS while still brainwashed then he would be even more deadly, although they would be less efficient as a team. Either way I see an easy win for MCU Cap and Bucky.

Yeah, Netflix Iron Fist needs a bada$$ upgrade. Cap and Bucky win this quickly. Danny is beaten and badly injured. Luke is simply unconscious on the ground.

He did, but it doesn't last long enough for him to really make hay against Cap and Bucky. He'd better use it effectively because that's his one shot in this scenario. Based on the demonstration of his fighting skills so far he'd be lucky to hit them before he's KO'd.

The big threat is Cage who would ignore hits from normal opponents.....thing is that both Cap and Bucky are both superhumanly strong ( low level) and tough - he would at least feel their blows, and in time they might wear him down.

Also, weapons are an issue, does Bucky have his favorite guns, knives or grenades ?

Skill wise Cap and Bucky have a huge advantage .

I see Danny going down pretty quickly, but Cage putting up a real fight until he's finally subdued.

I think Netflix Luke would have a hard time landing any serious blows. He'd be a punching bag. He's invulnerable, but a series of superhuman rapid-fire blows from Cap or Bucky would put him down pretty quick.

Bucky's metal arm has some pretty reasonable strength feats ( eg punching his cage door off its hinges), and I reckon Cage would feel his punches.

If Luke lands the right punch he could sleep Bucky or Cap to be honest. He knocked a guy out by tapping their head with two of his fingers and he can punch through solid brick.

They greatly outclass him in skill, but Luke has the strength advantage and a large durability advantage.

Actually I think its a good pairing to kick off the tag team fights - 2 classic marvel combos ( Cap+Bucky and Power Man and Iron Fist).

I think the likelihood of him landing a punch is low. Also they're both ridiculously durable.

Winter Soldier's metal arm has around the same strength as Luke Cage. Add that to the infinitely superior skill of both Cap and Winter Soldier. I'm sorry for Luke but they don't stand a chance unless Danny learns how to control his Iron Fist and do consecutive punches with it. If he manages to do that then the fight would be far more equilibrated.

Yeah it's very low, but Cap has been hit by lesser skilled characters before.

Daredevil would be way better placement than Luke Cage. Luke would sleep either Bucky or Cap if he gets one hit in.

Agreed. Elektra thrashed him and KO'd him. Cap is a better fighter and stronger than Elektra, and precise with his attacks. He'd KO Luke I think pretty quickly.

The show wasn't shot well, but his absurd skill level, and battle speed perception was clearly intended to be superior to anything we've seen.

I can't see Cap or Bucky landing a hit on him. If they do, he's busted, but if he's using his chi, he can one shot either one of them. Danny is very underrated here.

When focused, he was seeing master martial artists move in slow motion.

Danny is way to fast and skilled for Bucky and Cap if he doesn't have his shield.

In terms of hand to hand combat, Danny has by far the best skill and speed feats in the MCU.

They will absolutely not hit him first. Not a chance. If we are using Danny at his best in this thread, with his Chi fist, and his focused speed, coupled with his combat skill and use of pressure points, Danny can take down Bucky, and Cap if he isn't using his shield, or if he can disarm cap.

Dodges bullet AFTER it's fired.

Fights a Hand master who is basically moving in slow motion. If Danny is in THIS zone, and is using his Chi fist, Cap goes down. Luke Cage can hold his own against Winter Soldier but he goes down.

Cap and Bucky can take down Danny, but Danny is a wildcard and more than capable of taking down Bucky or Cap 1 v 1.

I do agree that Iron Fist is being horribly underrated in this battle, Luke is being given his proper respect though.

For the record, I think Luke would beat Bucky in a one on one. Bucky is more skilled, but he doesn't have a shield like Cap and he isn't as evasive as Cap either.

Does Iron Fist hit a lot harder than Iron Man's fists or repulsors ?

If not then either Cap or Bucky will be wiping the floor with him. Both of them are super strong, tough and fast.

He may have some skills - I dispute that he has greater skill than Cap or Bucky - but regardless of that he sure doesn't have anywhere near their experience - in Bucky's case as a killer.

Anyway, guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

If this was the comic versions Luke and Danny have a good chance of winning - MCU versions, I just can't see it.

Explain then how Matt was beating his a** in the Defenders before JJ stepped in to stop it? If DD could get good licks in you don't think an enhanced Cap or Bucky could? Imagine those shots Matty was connecting on thrown by them...In the MCU versions of these characters, Danny is done.

We'll see how he's advanced in season 2.
