hello, i'm here review the medicom carnage because there seems to be a serious lack of reviews on this guy and any real photos of someone who owns one. i might continue to do medicom figure reviews or reviews of high grade figures in general. if anyone has any medicom figures they'd like to post reviews up of along with pics, feel free to chime in. I have a few more pics if anyone wants to see them, i couldn't post them in this post because i was only limited to 7 pics.

First things first- the sculpt. this guy looks amazing, period. He stands 12 inches tall. he is spot on with the comics. his hands and feet come with tendrels attacthed to them (which can not be removed). the tendrels wrap around his legs and arms. his hands look like freddy cuggers knife glove, they look perfect. outside of the hands and head there isn't much more of a sculpt since the body is covered with a body suit, which by the way looks great. the body suit is awesome, probably the only way to make the figure look as none toyish and plastic as possable. the body suit works and works well, anyone worried about the seems shouldn't be, they are hardly noticable, medicom did a great job hiding the seems in the black spots of the suit.

Paint aps- well the paint aps are perfection. no over sprays or anything of the sorts. his eyes are a shiny white, base color of the head is red with the black streaming out from around the eyes. this is the same with the hands and feet.

Poseability- i don't know how much articulation he has, but it is alot, maybe 20 points, maybe more. he can probably hold any pose you want him too. i've taken a few pics to show his range of motion.

acceries- his acceries are pretty much 2 sets of hands. he has his normal hands and then he has a whip like tendrel and an axe. Both of these are awesome but the tendrel is a little heavy so it's a little loose in its joint. he also comes with a display stand, which is not needed to pose the figure.

packaging- I really don't care about packaging one way or the other, it's the figure that counts. but the packaging is big. about 7 inchs wide and about 15 inches tall. the front has a flap that opens up to reveal a window and shows off the figure in the box. the box has a few images of carnage out of the comics.

overall- A+ this is a must have for any fan of carnage, this is the figure we've always wanted, carnage has never looked better and probably never will. I paid 122 dollars with shipping for this guy, not a bad deal considering medicom only made 1000 of these figures, so the price is going to be steep. but the price is no big deal to me considering that's what i paid for the hot toys alien figure pictured with carnage in some of the photos and i've paid hundreds more for other figures. i've heard people say that medicoms figures seem fragile but this figure seems like everything but fragile. if you are wondering where you can get this guy besides ebay, the only place i could find him is at darkfigures.com they shipped him on monday and he came on thursday (today). in closing, if you love carnage just as much as I do, you'll treat yourself to this figure, by far the best carnage figure ever made.

Another medicom review by the end of march. GHOST RIDER

yea, he was never really circulated well in the US. Medicom isn't a US company so alot of there stuff doesn't make it over here. Thier RAH figures are one of thier only lines i see sold at places like sideshow collectiablies or other online retail shops.

Medicom Sucks...I got a Medicom Storm Trooper....it doesn't suck, but it's only decent....sure as hell not $150 Decent.

the carnage honestly is the only medicrom fig that sparked my interest... but i have a hard time shelling out $150 for 1 fig when i could buy alot more things i want for that... hell thats $30 away from me being able to but this Fan 4 statue i've been wanting

No Spidey the Medicoms are not worth $150 at all.

i wouldnt think so.. plus i've always been firmly against buying any fig thats more of a "doll"

this most obvisiously isn't for ppl who wouldn't spend over 100 dollars on a figure. i prefer the expensive hard to find stuff. i hate it when you can see the joints and bad looking pieces that makes the figure posable. medicom is for people who like collictables, same goes for sideshow collectibles and hot toys. and carnage is no where near to being a doll. probably the coolest figure i have next to my aliens figure. but hey, i'm just trying to give info to ppl who are interested in it.

this most obvisiously isn't for ppl who wouldn't spend over 100 dollars on a figure. me personally wouldn't buy a figure that was under a 100 bucks but thats just me. i prefer the expensive hard to find stuff. i would never buy a toy you can pick up at toysrus (except for transformers). i hate it when you can see the joints and bad looking pieces that makes the figure posable. medicom is for people who like collictables, not toys, same goes for sideshow collectibles and hot toys.

hey bud, let's make a deal. go to my haves/wants thread. I have a lot of rare items, and if it makes you feel better, I'll jack up the prices so you feel that you're getting a bargin. I can sell you some figures for $100+ each with no problem. Just let me know which ones you want.

haha, funny. you know what i mean, i'm not trying to be mean about this. i'm just saying i like a good quailty product and i don't mind spending a good amount of money on it if i have no other choice of getting it. and you quoted me before i edited my response. i was a little harse at first. i'm not a penny pincher like most ppl. but i was mainly saying that most of my collection is made up of 100+ dollar figures and statues. i have statues that were 800 bucks. i have a figure that costed me 390 and i don't have a problem with it, i'd do it again. i've already paid for the 170 dollar venom statue from spider man 3. as well as the medicom venom and ghost rider figures coming out in april. but i'm not going to get nasty about this, i'm just stating a point. money is no obsticale when i want something (in the terms of figures and statues). and if you seriously had something i wanted and i had no other means to get it, i sure as hell would pay a high price for it.

I am just sharing my opnion. And mi wisdom with the people you are trying to reach out to.. and I know thier tastes a little better.

And Dude, You don't wanna get into this, You paid $150 plus for a doll. It's less articulated than the ML Carnage, but sure you can't se the POA. Oh well...My Carnage is in the middle of a Huge Rumble with all of Spider-man's villains....yours.....yous sit's alone by itself becuase Medicom only made a Venom and a Carnage and a few select others.

Oh well at least yours has a stupid looking shirt type thing on it that makes it look really dumb...like an old Mego......Crappy...and silly looking for a lot of money. Give me a Ken doll and some material and I can make this figure...and I'll charge you less.

Now if I want a Great looking carnage that will sitby itself and look cool then I will spend less than $150 and buy a Statue.

I'm not even gonna comment on the amound of folks that buy Medicom Toys only to have them break shortly after taking them out of the package.

If you want Marvel figures that hide thier articulation joints then may I sugges the Spider-man Origins Signature Series

well seriously, go look at what i have, you might find something you like. and i've got pretty reasonable prices. and you have money and I don't and I need some. I'm selling off a lot of my stuff for the soon to be wife. Trying to suprise her with a honeymoon, one better than just merely getting a hotel at the beach that's only a couple hours away.

Now you just sound like you are trying to say you are better for spending more money on things....Well i guarentee that I have spent more on my collection and I have a crap load more than you do.

I've got $200 statues I've got $600 statues, I've got $150 figures I've got $10 figures I've paid $170 for. I've got a Damn 1:1 scale replica of Kermit the Frog. and I love that Kermit, but i didn't come in here and tell everyone to buy one...I know they wouldn't

I lost my point and train of thought.....Oh yeah, I would rather buy 15 $10 figures than one $150 dollar figure.

I got a $30 statue...ok I lie, I couldn't afford one at this point. but I want to feel rich too :( I have a 1993 Gold Plated Leonardo TMNT statue though. think that's my only comic type statue though. Well and the galactus and molemonster marvel masterworks if you count those.

Was that Leo a Statue or a old Plated fig? Cause I got one too....bt I never opened it...i thought it was a fig.....

And JNMX, I appologize......seems to me like I'm being a little overly rude for no good reason....sorry.

i looked at your stuff, nice collection of turtles stuff, i used to have all of those, but i sold them a few years back. and what ppl need to realize that i probably buy one or two things a year (or sell old things to get new ones), this year is a little different because of all the big movies coming out so more to pick up. i'd have to budget myself this year aswell. i wish i could help you as what you are doing is admorable and i applaude you for parting with your stuff for your soon to be wife. she is lucky to have someone as understanding as you as parting with all that stuff that you have probably isn't easy as i've been there too.

and i'm not hear to get into an argument with anyone. i'm defending myself. what you think looks like a dumb looking tshirt looks damn amazing to me and is one of the prizes of my collection. and i don't buy figures for just one line. Carnage is the only piece of marvel merchindise i own becuase it is the only one worth getting (i'm not joking, i don't own a single spiderman toy or figure, just my opion). i like display pieces, this is probably the wrong place to be talking about display pieces though as they seem to not be welcomed here. but all this is my opion and nothing more, i'm not telling you to like the figure. you don't need to go into attack mode, sorry if i offened you in any way. (roughneck). that wasn't my intention, reason why i edited my post above.

i gurrantee you have a bigger collection than i do and have spent more money on stuff that i have. i didn't mean to throw around stuff to make myself seem better. i was just trying to make a point, not bring anyone down. i have something that cost 800, it's the only thing i have that cost that much, it was a one time thing. enough of that though. my whole intention was to comment on a figure that i like, a pricy figure, becuase i've haven't seen any threads or reviews on it anywhere, so i figured i would post one here and give my thoughts on it and if anyone wanted it, i'd post the website that had it at the cheapest, he goes for 150 bucks on ebay so i was trying to provide a different means of getting the figure, a cheaper way, as i don't like to just throw my money around, i look and research for weeks before i buy anything so i get the best deal i can. i was just trying to pass down my own info to others. nothing more.

No worries man, as you see above I appologized... I was outta line.

So besides the Carnage and the Alien what else do you have?

I got a $30 statue...ok I lie, I couldn't afford one at this point. but I want to feel rich too :( I have a 1993 Gold Plated Leonardo TMNT statue though. think that's my only comic type statue though. Well and the galactus and molemonster marvel masterworks if you count those.

jeez, i feel bad now, trust me i've been there. i've recently started selling old figures i have. i just sold all of my godzilla trendmaster figures for 250 bucks (it was a nice hall). now i'm going to sell my bandai godzilla vinyl figures too. i'd rather not, but i think it's time to let some of that stuff go. but thats what i do, it's out with the old, in with the new. one of the ways i get my money to buy more stuff, that and gifts lol but truly, if i had extra cash, i'd scoop up your turtles stuff, as that is one of the best toy lines ever. my favs were the rubber ones that came from the movie lines.

Was that Leo a Statue or a old Plated fig? Cause I got one too....bt I never opened it...i thought it was a fig.....

And JNMX, I appologize......seems to me like I'm being a little overly rude for no good reason....sorry.

It's a gold plated figure, but I was trying to feel involved :( Thanks.

Oh Sorry..

Tell you what....for the rest of the day My Boba Fett and Darth Maul Statues are yours. You just keep them on display at my place....I'll take them back tomorrow.

honestly, i used to have ALOT of toys, and i mean toys toys. i had the entire spawn series from line 1 till like 14, but i sold all of those. and i just recently sold two urizens (that came with autographed cards by toad mcfarlane) for 90 bucks each. i'm parting with my stuff as i'm moving and don't have the space for all these. one of the reasons why i don't buy the smaller figures, just don't have space for them, so the bigger ones are a nice alternative for me. as i stated above i HAD the entire turtles line. i've just gotten back into transformers with the binaltech/alternators line and classics. the 390 figure i was talking about is called getter one from fewtures line and hes made out of 90% diecast. one of the reasons why hes so expensive, and they only made 2500 of them. here's a link to pics for him http://www.thesparker.com/utopia/index.php?showtopic=268 i have the masterpiece optimus prime and starscream. i have 2 guyver figures from the biofighter collection, they were about 50 bucks apiece and for 50 bucks, they could have been better, i'm not going to sugar coat it, they should have been no more than 40 at the most and those aren't figures i would recommend to anyone unless you were a big guyver fan like myself. i have the new reissue soundwave from toysrus which is awesome. i also have a G1 pirenacon (whole combiner). And i have 2 big dragon statues that are actually made with the tail wrapping around real crystal, one of the reasons why they are so expensive.

and i'll be honest with you, 150 dollars for a storm troper? that's to much, having carnage in hand now, and knowing how much i like him, i may pay that much for him, but thats a big mayb, only if it was my last option would i that. i want the medicom boba fett but for 150 dollars? i may only consider it now that i have carnage but i would never pay 150 for a storm tropper, for 150 i think you could atleast get darth vader. storm tropper, doesn't look like it should be more than 90 bucks. And i deffently know why ppl have a distaste for medicom, since besides carnage the only ones i'm even interested in are the ones i mentioned, and darth vader and boba fett, and maybe the jin royo or what ever it's name is figure. but i am very picky with what i buy and purchase. since i am a huge godzilla fan, i'm currently saving up for the SOC (soul of chokogin) GD 98 mecha godzilla. even though its only 55 bucks, it's currently not in my budget. but yea, 150 for storm tropper is insane, even to me lol

Yeah, the Storm Trooper was a gift, I never would have bought it...after getting it I figured I might get the Boba Fett from the line...but the Strom Tropper is in the same scale as a BoBa Fett Statue I have so I figured I might as well not.

I can say that if they ever do a Medicom RAH Angel figure then I will likely buy one of them.

a medicom angel would be cool, i would prefer an arch angel but that would be an awesome figure. is your boba fett the sideshow edition? that one looks sweet, sideshow does some cool figures, do you have the darth maul figure they made, it's only like 50 bucks or something like that, it's on my want list as thats a good price for something thats high end like that, well sideshow usually puts there stuff out at a good price anyway, their hellboy figures were cheap too, cheap compared to other import figures.
