MetroCon 2007: A Smallville Convention

In case you missed it, the point of "MetroCon" is to provide fans of SV with an opportunity to actually *meet* other fans of the show, and maybe some cast and crew as well. Like a Star Trek convention, where people aren't overly interested in discussing Battlestar Galactica or Farscape (for example), MetroCon is *specific* to SV. That means that discussion of all things SV is encouraged. People can live, eat and breathe the show with other fans who want to do the exact same thing. Imagine that? The Metropolis fair isn't specific to SV, and ComicCon is even more diluted as it deals with all things sci-fi, fantasy and comic related. The SV producers don't even do panels there anymore.

For the record I been to the NY comic-con a few times also Pat in case you missed my point. My point is what is the real purpose of this so-called Con..
