If anyone has seen Lady in the Water then they would know that Noah Gray-Cabey's character in that movie had a very unique gift/power. I thought it was great and personally think he should have it again in Heroes.

Basically in Lady in the Water he had a gift of reading symbols and imagery in an unusual way to figure out plots or things that may happen. Unravel mysteries etc.

so you're suggesting that the writers rip off M. Night Shyamalan and give Gray-Cabey's Heroes character the same gift/power of a character that he previously played?

Yup pretty much, just an in joke kinda thing cause he played the part really well in the movie. Plus its such an unusual power to have that know one would expect a kid top have. Plus in HEROES he's playing a genius so I think it could work. So what if its a bit of rip off they could do it.

They could even ask Shyamalan for permission which im sure he'd grant considering he's also reads comic books and likes superheroes.

So you're saying he's a cryptic solver?

Considering it's been done i would hope not, but if it hadn't been done it would of been cool.

Greeeat idea. Call him Cypher, kill him, and then put his body on a shape-shifting mutant from outer space called Warlock, so we'll get... Micahlock!

If we're going to rip off, let's start with the source.

so, bascially you want him to be a plot device and not an actual fleshed out character?

I'd rather have it the way we're getting it, slowly and by the droplet

i still think hes a technopath

His power could just be that he's smart. I think it would be a little much if he had a flashy ability.

i don't believe in a little much in a show where one guy can time travel someone can heal faster that Wolverine and someone can paint the future.

:p :D

thats exactly what im hoping.

sure his power can be super smart also, but this being HEROES that power is way to easily assumed and we need a twist.

there must be a "real power". just like how many thought that Niki's power seemed to be only her split personality but we found out that her "real power" is super strength.

so what im thinking due to his super smartness, there must be another power he possesses, hopefuly a technopath or somesort of bringing nonanimated things to life [like the Uluru?]

I wonder.... what would happen in David Banner and Kitty Pride had a baby?

i was thinkin the same about the lady in the water..thing but not so-much of that being his power but that he reads the 9th wonder comics..so he must have an idea of whats gunna happen next and can kinda help guide the other heroes along

ohh and hello superhero hype boards....i've been reading the threads for a while now but finally became a member YES!!!!!! ight im done ..

I advise you to make sure your first posts are grammatically correct and have proper spelling.

Once you're established, THEN you may let yourself go and talk ******ed nonsense in l33tsp34k.

That's how we roll at the Hype, yo. :D

maybe his power is like knowing powers

or maybe his power is just knowing everything

i dunno

he knew his mom was a net stripper and that she had powers
he even knew what the bad guys were asking her to do(****ing fly boy)

maybe its some kind of a aura sensing thing.

the whole super brain child seems to expected

i'd love for him to just be suepr smart and then have some other power,

Well Micah does a true power, which was revealed tonight's episode. He is a
Technopath and how they revealed was very interesting.
This has gotten more interesting.

This doesn't need its own thread

After tonight's episode it seems like Micah's more in line with Mayor Hundred from Ex Machina than the character from Lady in the Water.

Isn't that the same power the main villian of Sky High had?

Kinda. As far as we know, his only power is to be able to fix out of order phones.
