Seems attorney Michael Avenatti can't stay out of trouble as he's been arrested after attempting to extort $25+ million from Nike ahead of the NCAA Basketball Tournament over the companies' employees' alleged criminal misdeeds.

Trump is gonna love this one. He's on top of the world after this week.

Sleezy lawyer accused of doing sleezy things. News at 11.

Not a fan of Geragos going back to when he represented wife murderer Scott Peterson. This story is wonderful.
Funny thing is one of Geragos' clients is Colin Kaepernick, who is a well-known Nike endorser. Talk about not serving your potential clients well.

This guy was a ****ing scuzzball from the word go, even Porny McGee has expressed regret over hiring him.

To think this dude was being held up as a potential presidential outsider too is pretty hilarious. And yeah, he totally hit that woman.

That's probably a fair caveat, yeah. I guess with his temporary high profile during all the Daniels ****storms they have to report it as a legit story if he's saying it, doesn't necessarily mean it's being taken seriously.

Pundits & Democrats were still pretty much all over this guy in a positive manner for a while there though, for pushing a narrative they were invested in wanting to hear. Was pretty evident early on this guy's a skeezy opportunist (at best) though. Nice to see he can add blackmailer to the list though.

I took the attitude of he's obviously an ambulance chasing opportunist, but he gets **** done. Which he did in exposing the Stormy Daniels payoffs and such.

It started to get a little old how he was so obviously trying to insert himself into every new scandal that came along that had nothing to do with his client though.

The details on this make him seem a real idiot. Like he was trying to get caught. :funny:

Like representing a pornstar in a suit over being paid to keep quiet about a sexual encounter (skeezy, but not a crime) doesn't make him an idiot.

Or, **** it, hitting women makes him an idiot.
