Homecoming Michael Giacchino is the Composer for Spider-Man: Homecoming

i am not really into junkie xl and since he has more ties to wb and dc i doubt he do a marvel project. Elfman i like him but i dont really coming back and doing another go at spidey. There is plently of great names out there to pick from.

Anyone think we might get a new Spidey theme in Civil War? Even a small theme which could be reused and developed in the 2017 movie? Or will they not bother?

If he already had his own solo movie, the composer could've incorporated that into Civil War when Spidey first appears and steals Cap's shield.

They'll definately give newcomers like Ant-Man, Spidey and Panther themes.

Ant-Man has a theme already, and one of the best MCU scores. They should reuse the one by Christophe Beck instead of trying to reinvent the wheel and come up with something else.

I'd like Beck to write a Spidey theme as well. But he's not the one scoring Civil War.

I know Ant-Man has a theme. What I meant is they'll give it to him in CW as well. Like they used the IM3 theme for IM in AoU. BP and Spidey will have new themes since they are new tho.

They'll probably make a new theme for for Spidey, I love Henry Jackman so I hope is really good.

I'm not sure who I would want for the solo film, maybe Michael Giacchino(The Incredibles and Mission Impossible 3&4).

Edit: I was just reading the last few pages, I didn't know so many people liked Giacchino as well :wow: :applaud

would be neat if we do get a theme for spidey in civil war. But i wouldnt be all that hurt if we dont. And for who ever ends as composer for the solo i hope we get some kick ss themes and radio songs too for what ever they use in the soundtrack.

Not sure he'd suit Spidey

My personal choice would be Giacchino

I would like Brian Tyler, his score from IM3 reminded me of how bombastic Spider-Man should sound, i would absolutely love if he is the one scoring.

I don't know if it's just me but Spider-Man's suite in Civil War reminded me of IM3's theme, which makes me think Brian Tyler may be the composer for Homecoming.

Maybe we'll get a composer reveal on the Press Release for filming.

Give it a good month before we start seeing any Spider-Man news. They don't want to take any focus or media off Civil War. This is their month to shine.

Whoever he is he will never top Danny Elfman's masterpiece. :(

I don't think they'll even try to top it, for some reason Marvel doesn't seem to give a **** about main themes. Notice how CW didn't have either of Cap's themes from the first 2 movies, both which were great

So true. This is why I'm really hoping Sony will be in charge of that part.

That theme was so perfect!

Also hope they have an input on who they choose as well. From Cap TFA onwards Marvel films have a tendency for painfully generic stock scores. (with the exception of CW and TWS) Which Is why I don't want Bryan Tyler anywhere near this movie.

Let Henry Jackman expand upon his awesome Spidey motif in Civil War

Ive noticed that as well. There aren't to many MCU themes that are worth relistening to Imo. So far with the Spider-Man movies, I think all the themes we've gotten have been great, with Elfman having the best.

His 3 second cue in CW was nothing special, he's much better at writing music for action movies which is why TWS score was so good. He's a great composer but he doesn't fit Spider-Man. I would prefer him over Junkie XL though, his Deadpool score was almost distracting.

Michael Giacchino FTW

He does fit Spidey. Listen to his Kickass scores. If that doesn't scream Spidey, I don't know what does to you. And Spidey has a whole track dedicated to himself in 'New Recruit', I liked it. He established the sound of MCU Spidey, I personally think he should be the one toadvance it in Homecoming.

And i'm not high on Giacchino, but I'd take him over Bryan Tyler any day of the week.
