Homecoming Michael Giacchino is the Composer for Spider-Man: Homecoming

He does fit Spidey. Listen to his Kickass scores. If that doesn't scream Spidey, I don't know what does to you. And Spidey has a whole track dedicated to himself in 'New Recruit', I liked it. He established the sound of MCU Spidey, I personally think he should be the one toadvance it in Homecoming.

And i'm not high on Giacchino, but I'd take him over Bryan Tyler any day of the week.

Lol the "New Recruit" track is for his Peter Parker scene and is just standard dialogue music, is nothing special. Funny enough it reminded me of IM3

I don't want Bryan Tyler either.

I don't think they'll even try to top it, for some reason Marvel doesn't seem to give a **** about main themes. Notice how CW didn't have either of Cap's themes from the first 2 movies, both which were great

Funny enough they throw in some of antmans theme in CW

Welp! Michael Giacchino will make the music for Dr. Strange

Tom just needs a good theme and he's all set.

I hope they bring back Giacchino for Spidey, i like him, alternatively, John Powell or James Newton Howard would be nice.

Here's a complition of all them in one video:

Just screams Spider-Man. I love how many variations the Spidey motif can have, reminds me the awesome hero's theme from TASM.

The tone is pretty accurate for Spidey, though the music is pretty generic to be honest. At least it's somewhat enjoyable, all I care about really is that they make a great film

Edit: having listened a second time, the beginning with the piano sounds great, still not sure about the rest

I didn't care for Spidey bursting in on the scene with the score blaring as his eyes randomly closed down. I guess he was aiming for threatening yet the music said otherwise?

Eh.

Just my opinion, but I think that was the point lol :P

We've already gotten Danny Elfman, Christopher Young, James Horner, and Hans Zimmer et al.

Who should score the next Spider-Man movie?

I hope they keep Giacchino after he does Dr.Strange, i think he would make a great Spidey score, alternatively, John Powell or James Newton Howard.

I will kill myself if they use Brian Tyler again, i swear that guy is just bland.

I love Michael Giacchino's work so I would be more than happy if he scored "Spider-Man: Homecoming."

Joseph Trapanese or Steve Jablonsky
