Homecoming Michael Giacchino is the Composer for Spider-Man: Homecoming

I would be very pleased if they brought back the original theme in some capacity.

As would I, unless it means getting Maguire back. If that`s the case, then I want to stay as far way from that theme as possible.

there's no way anything (aside from JK) from the raimi series is coming back. the theme would be most welcome though, after JK.

If we hear the first few opening bars of Elfman's Spider-Man theme at the end of Age of Ultron, we'll known even before he appears on screen that Spider-Man must be in the end credits, or something related to him.

Different version "Spider-Man" song would do better job than Elfman. Many people probably already forgot Elfman's theme and also it belongs to old franchise that might confuse audience.

Spider-man song is used since 60's.

Iron Man used the 60s cartoon theme, not the Iron Man animated series.

And the 90s Spider-Man animated series theme is not the definitive Spider-Man theme. Ask anyone and they will tell you without a doubt that it's the 60s Spider-Man theme, which the Raimi films did use several times, either in the end credits or in-joke references to it within the films themselves:

Even kids today know it without actually knowing what it comes from and that it was a even a cartoon. It's almost like a Spider-Man jingle now.

I thought the Horner and Zimmer Spider-Man themes were completely forgettable and don't even seem particularly spidery at all.

Oh so the Iron Man theme was from the 60's? Oh, well anyways it's an awesome theme song. Definitive Iron Man theme song. As for the 60's Spider-Man theme song, you can say it's definitive, and it is in a way, but for another time. I refer to it as the classic theme song for Spider-Man, but dated by today's standards.

I liked the 90's animated theme. It was the Spider-Man theme. The 90's animated series is still the best of the animated Spidey shows. The rock, the guitar sound. I'd at least like it if they used it in some part of the movie.

Hmmm... my initial opinion was "whoever composed that theme for 'The Incredibles'" (so kudos to all who mentioned Michael Giacchino!). But really, as long as it's not all brooding or an attempt at sounding like the most epic cacophany of strings ever, then I'll be fine :D

I'd like Brian Taylor, his music for Battle: Los Angeles was pretty cool.

Hans and Elfman should team up. I think Brian Tyler is an excellent choice. Junkie Xl is the next best thing after Hans and Ramin Djawadi is excellent as well. Too many living legends to not take advantage of any of them. I say get the Hans and Junkie XL team and add a little Elfman. Or get Hans to Collaborate with Brian Tyler. Too many Masters, too much talent, just use them. I think Junkie is Hans' successor so they should hire him. His hands are hot right now and he can do no wrong.

I say either Brian Tyler or Alan Silvestri.

I'm not sure if anyone has suggested him (too lazy to check) but Henry Jackman's score for Big Hero 6 was very cool.
Doesn't this have quite a Spider-Man feel to it?

Sorrot of mostly the first like 20 seconds though.

If they could get Hans Zimmer that would be pretty damn amazing. His Inception score is probably my favourite of all time.

But Brian Tyler has done a great job with Iron Man 3 and Thor 2, and seems to be in Marvel's good graces seeing as they continue to retain him. I think he would be a good shout.

I really want the crew responsible for the Kick-Ass and Kick-Ass 2 scores.

I would like for his main theme to be like the theme from Spider-Man: Web of Shadows

I've been listening to Heitor Pereira's work and I think he could do a fun and thrilling score for Spidey :D

I know he has mostly done scores for children's movies, but hey, other great composers like Henry Jackman started that way.
