Would you be content with him playing the JLA version of Lex Luthor, if its in the script?

Remember: he's 35 in real life (Lex is 28 in Season 7), so he probably looks older without the make-up.

I don't want him playing Luthor in Justice League, unless Tom Welling is playing Superman.

Unless we're getting Smallville: The Movie.

he's the only lex ever to do bald well on the screen that wasn't hand drawn. His characterisation of lex when he isn't lana-fied is perfect however in a big screen movie outside of smallville continuity i don't think so.

No, he sucks.

I still think Bruce Willis would play a great badass Lex Luther...

I do and I don't. If having him brings Tom Welling as Superman, forget him; If it's just him, then definitely.

Kevin Spacy played Lex great.

I would LOVE Rosenbaum as Luthor.

But to be honest, while he's done the most perfect job with him ever in live action. I don't think he should be in the movie. Unless welling is sups. Then he needs to be. But other than that = no.

I do like the idea of Billy Zane or even Bruce Willis. Willis is a new one for me.....but I could get behind it.

Agreed,if welling is supes the rosenbaum should be lex,but you cant have one without the other...buut,if routh is supes, shouldnt spacey be lex...im confused:huh:

Smallville & its actors are on TV for a reason

Excel. By your logic than Kiefer Sutherland and Hugh Laurie are bad actors. Stop talking ****.

I am sorry; Smallville and its actor on the CW Tv channel instead of abc/nbc/foc/cbs for a reason :o

Wouldn't mind it. I like him as the character....but it would be confusing for people continuity wise. My choice for a new movie Luthor is: Daniel Day Lewis.

In my eyes he is the Best Luthor. Rosenbaum would be kick ass.

For those of you who blindly say no, you probably haven't even watched a second of his performances in the fifth and sixth seasons of Smallville. (And no, don't waste your time typing the "Yeah, I wouldn't watch a second of that crap anyway" retort).

Rosenbaum's Luthor is fantastic, and with or without Welling he'd be a terrific Lex for JL if they wanted him. He's suave, and yet completely chilling and threatening when he has to be.

i concur w/ all ya'll - yes for rosenbaum if tom welling is supes.

if not, billy zane for lex!

I've seen it, and I didn't like it.

His Luthor has always seemed to lack any essence of authority or a forceful or mature presence. He's always been Lex Jr., and the latter seasons didn't change that perception for me.
