I watched Parasite for the first time last year (as part of my K-drama/K-movie marathon), and this Mickey 17 doesn't interest me at all after seeing the 1st trailer.
I'm not a huge fan of the director's English-language work (a little too farcical for my tastes), but I'm still going to check this out over the weekend (in LieMAX) and hope for the best.
I liked the movie quite a bit, Robert Pattinson is doing incredible work. It feels like a divisive project, though. It reminds me a lot of Snowpiercer and Okja. My friend thought the movie was too long, but I didn't feel the length at all.
It's CRAZY that there's an assassination attempt on a Trump-esque politician in this. He's shot, but it only scrapes the intended victim. This and Brave New World coming out so close to each other is wild.
