I have run into a bit of a snag here. I am having a lot of trouble adapting to a world that has changed too rapidly for my taste. I think being employed has only strengthened just how much the world has changed and how much I hate it. You see, I don't think applying through online applications does jack all for getting hired. What is a computer operator collating online applications going to know about hiring local people? I am angry and frustrated right now because I just do not like the way things are run nowadays, so cold, sterile and impersonal. I seriously just want to check out completely because I just can't get anywhere in this modern era. All I get is that I'm too old or any other stupid irrational criticism to invalidate me and my worth. I'm just fed up with the way things have become and I just want out.

You can always call a few days after you submit your application. It shows initiative, which is never a bad thing.
