I hate that shot. I said it in the news thread, it's like singers go to shot for storm using lightning. I wish it was slightly different but I can't think how. I love the other shot where she seems to be generating wind around her though

It's not the shot per se, it's that storm never looks like she is floating or flying when she does it, it's like she is stood on air

I get what you mean. Her cape isn't even floating around in the wind. Which makes it look more like she's standing on something... I'm not really a fan of the CGI so far..

Storm was not fighting Beast she's fighting Cyclops/Jean I thought.

Alex looks great. That cape not blowing when they've got visible wind and everything is a rookie mistake. One small nit pick I have is with the physical choices Alex makes when Storm is shooting the lightning and summoning the wind, they are a bit amateurish. Say what you will about Halle but when her Storm was using her powers she looked like a goddess with poses and movements straight outta the books. Once again it's just something I noticed not really harping on it especially since I've only seen two shots of her in what is likely a 2hr film.

Why can't they try to make Storm looks awesome. Storm should be spinning around first as she flies then raises her hands and shoot lightning.

Not just walk and stand with arms raise only shoulders level

Oh yeah. Storm was awesome in the first x-men movie and the cape was definitely better than what we have for X-men Apocalypse.

Yes I wish they hadn't cut the bangs it looked so much better with them. I agree X1 was my fav look from her,Halle even had a darker tint in it as the movies progressed she simply looked like Halle not Storm to me.

Halle really look like a real Storm to me in X1., even with the bangs but of course, without bangs would have been better.
