I hate that shot. I said it in the news thread, it's like singers go to shot for storm using lightning. I wish it was slightly different but I can't think how. I love the other shot where she seems to be generating wind around her though
EDIT
It's not the shot per se, it's that storm never looks like she is floating or flying when she does it, it's like she is stood on air
Isn't it beast that she's fighting there?
Right hopefully they can do both of those characters more justice this time around.a live action Storm/Cyclops fight should've happened years ago, if there was any justice in this world
Glad to see it'll finally happen
not so happy that it's 2 teeanagers in not-my-favorite costumes, but I guess there's no use gripin' about that now..
hopefully the next movie has adult Cyke and adult 'Ro battling for leadership
The clip of cyc and Jean firing at storm is a separate fight, it's beast in that lightning clip
I want them each leading the blue and gold teams one day.![]()

They could call it Civil War with the govenment after Havok and Cyke tries to stop them getting him.and fight each other.![]()
Why can't they try to make Storm looks awesome. Storm should be spinningaround first as she flies then raises her hands and shoot lightning.
Not just walk and stand with arms raise only shoulders level
Buy the character rights and do whatever you want with hert:
Alex looks great. That cape not blowing when they've got visible wind and everything is a rookie mistake. One small nit pick I have is with the physical choices Alex makes when Storm is shooting the lightning and summoning the wind, they are a bit amateurish. Say what you will about Halle but when her Storm was using her powers she looked like a goddess with poses and movements straight outta the books. Once again it's just something I noticed not really harping on it especially since I've only seen two shots of her in what is likely a 2hr film.
The only time to me Halle looked like a goddess as Storm was in X1 when she fought Toad they scene still blows me away like she exudes power in that scene I loved it. Other than than when she utilize her powers she looks no different than Alex same gritted face when using lightning and the serene face when using wind, except she isn't doing that weird head cock thing Halle did in X2, so I have to disagree with you.
Yea to me it looked like she was a little slow person who didn't know what they were doing. The head cock thing was just stupid to me personally.I liked the head cock in x2. It felt like she we moving with the wind she was creating as if it was part of her. It was such a little touch but I think it worked
Yes I wish they hadn't cut the bangs it looked so much better with them. I agree X1 was my fav look from her,Halle even had a darker tint in it as the movies progressed she simply looked like Halle not Storm to me.I think everyone can agree Storm never looked better than she b did in X1. If only Singer didn't cut those damn bangs down on that wig she would have bern perfect.

Lol. I just want Storm to look awesome.
Singer could have had Storm change from regular clothes into costume with lightning.
Or maybe that can be done on Storm's movie.![]()
I'd love that, though it's a bit far-fetched that she can re-align molecules of clothing so exactly with an electrical surge.
Having said that, creative use of powers has been a bit lacking at times. Everyone's powers are so simplistic.
Magneto 'controls metal' and nothing more, the telepathic characters just pick up thoughts and impressions instead of having telepathic conversations.
Xavier was great in the books when he kept in touch with the team and gave guidance, it was a good way of involving him in the action. In the films, he just gets kidnapped or rendered unconscious.
They need to read the comics.
Read. The. Comics. please, X-Men filmmakers! Tim Miller and Deadpool say hello...
